American Idol Season 9 Thread Top 5

It's being drilled into my head at work "Vote for Big Mike" "St. Pete Loves Big Mike" but after this week, he won't get another vote from me. I had to give my whole marketing department a lesson on American Idol and Dial Idol.

They did the same here in High Point when Fantasia was competing. There were watch "parties" put on by my local FOX station, "vote for Fantasia" bumper stickers and such. There wasn't that big a push when Chris Daughtry was competing.

Not only am I not voting this year, I'm even having trouble remembering to watch! I FF thru last night's show. Not much to it....

i stopped watching, i just come in here and chat, it's much more fun. i watch the last 5 minutes of the results just to see who leaves.

I remember when Diana DeGarmo kept Snellville on the map for a LOOOONG time and Snellville was right up the block from where I worked at the time. I voted for Fantasia, couldn't stand her.

I hated him when he was on but after seeing him(twice!!) on Broadway in Rock of Ages, I'm a convert!! He's great in the show, he really is!
