I think I got wind chills with this though. Not the same, but it's got potential.

The real chills though....gah I miss those so much.

I though the same thing. Great song, Lee did great all night, but he was totally pimped to win.

the only thing with that is, for the past few seasons, the ones that they've "pimped" like that, they've never won....

Lee was hands down the best.

Even if he was pimped, the producers aren't idiots. They might feel like they have to do it. Casey isn't a contender at this point (IMO) and they know Crystal is good but not commercial. They WANT commercial.

I haven't thought Casey was a contender since day 1. I still don't get it...he sounds average.


Crystal is good..appeals to a limited crowd though and they have limited winners already...they need another person that has the appeal of the first years winner...Kelly and Lee is that.

Well for the longest time this year, they pimped Crystal. Now they've almost left her stranded in the middle of the stage to go for Lee. I don't get it.

i don't think Lee has quite the appeal that Kelly has, either.....he's not exactly anything i would listen to, and i'm more into rock/alternative music, myself......

.blue collar are the average joes that go out and earn a living to support their families...that work their butts off in the factories and in the not so high paying glamor jobs

well they did that with Archuleta for a while in season 7, it wasn't until almost the very end that they even seemed to relalize that David Cook was even there.

and they did that last season, too. it wasn't until "Heartless" when Kris sang it, did they pay attention to him.

haven't most of the winners been like that, tho?? with the exception of Jordin Sparks, i think most of the winners kind of came from nothing and won.

Ah I remember the finale performances, when they all favored Archie to win, especially after David sang "The World I Know" and started to cry, since I knew that was a song he liked. My dad went "Oh, Cook is out. He's got no chance in H-e-l-l." and I was in total anger over him saying that and the judges 'betraying' me, so I ended up voting 1,000 times that night to prove them all wrong.
