did anyone notice TheIdolShow.com is no longer online?

Isn't that the site that supposedly had the clips of the Mandisa episode with someone in the audience yelling something? I wonder if it was fabricated and they were being faced with a lawsuit?

I wonder too, but the reaction of the audience and the contestants was so awkward and delayed, I'm inclined to believe something did happen.

If this is right and the song choices are right - Ace' choice MIGHT send him home this week - I just can't see anyone doing BETTER than Constantine did last year with Bo Rhap.

Haha!!! And I think that EVERYBODY would do better than Constantine with Bo Rhap!!! :rotfl2:

I think since the first spoiler has been said to be wrong, the rest probably are too. I'm really hoping that Ace isn't stupid enough to do Bo Rhap. Not because of Constantine because I thought he was stupid to do it do, but because it is a song that no one should do.

There are four reasons why I think nothing happened.

1. People who were there said nothing happened.
2. I watch the east coast version and there was nothing remotely amiss.
3. People in the audience were not looking behind them so see where the comment came from, they were looking straight ahead at Mandisa and Elliott.
4. Tons of people in the audience were smiling.

I've seen a lot of people say the same thing. I thought Con was GREAT last year - I liked how he used his theatre background in his performances but anyway, I guess someone must have liked his version enough to include it on the Queen tribute album that came out last year.

I still have the episode on my TIVO, so I watched it again yesterday. I do remember when watching it the first time that something odd happened when they said Mandisa's name. The thing that I noticed was Taylor started to clap, then stopped and looked confused. When I watched it back yesterday, it was clear that something had been quickly edited out. Everyone looked upset and confused, more so than just watching a friend be voted off. I think Ryan recovered nicely, but it was very obvious that something happened.

Taylor claps for everything. He clapped vigorously at the end of his last performance. I think he just realized that he shouldn't clap. He is just a clapping guy. The people in the audience do not look upset. They could not edit that out. My version does not look like anything has been editted out. It all runs very smoothly.

If something of that nature had been yelled out, the people in the audience would all be craning their necks to see who was yelling and what was happening. Not one person in the audience is doing that and they are smiling. Not a reaction that would support a comment like that.

I also think that if that had actually happened, people who were at the show would have come back and said so immediately on the message boards. They did not. This did not appear until several days later and actually only one person is saying that it happened. No one else collaborates the story.

When Mandisa was asked about the incident she said that she heard nothing.

Here's hoping Kellie sings Bohemian Rhapsody tomorrow!

I'll second that!!!

Someone more clever than I on another board said, "Ah sees a litter silleretter of a mayn"

The only song I can see Ace singing is "You're my best friend".

The motion has passed! Make the Pickle sing Scare-a-moooosh and Bee-yell-so-bub while she does the Fayn-dayn-go ;)

I think the group song should be Bohemian Rhapsody. It could be really funny.

Damo..great minds think alike. I don't get where everyone thinks Constantines version was so great...it was so so. NO one should do that song except for the late great original....and I am not all that much of a Queen fan...but his voice and style was amazing.

God, I hope Ace doesn't attempt it.

I agree! While no one does it like Queen, I thought that he did a pretty good job and I wasn't even a Constantine fan.

On Extra tonight while promoing tomorrow's show, they mentioned that they would peak at AI this week including Kellie's make her or break her move.

Hmmmmm......... c'mon BohRhap!

Song choices for tomorrow night (highlight to view):

•Ace Young, We Will Rock You: "I urbanized the verses a little, just by riding on (the notes). I put a little R&B soul on it. When we were done, they said, 'That sounds like a record.' "
•Bucky Covington, Fat Bottomed Girls: "Yes, we all love the fat-bottomed girls."
•Chris Daughtry, Innuendo: "It's a relatively unknown song. It just had a mixture of a dark feel and a positive message. And I just found out they've never performed this live."
•Elliott Yamin, Somebody to Love: "I was drawn to the passionate emotion of the song. I heard a lot of soul in it."
•Katharine McPhee, Who Wants to Live Forever: "How could (this) not be fun? We're working with so many different legends."
•Kellie Pickler, Bohemian Rhapsody: "We only have 1 minute and 30 seconds, and the song is really long. Having to cut so many pieces is really hard to memorize, because I'm not singing the song as it's originally played."
•Paris Bennett, The Show Must Go On: "Being with the band was a big experience to me, never being with a rock band before. I was able to pick a song that fits me, that's still rocky."
•Taylor Hicks, Crazy Little Thing Called Love: "You listen to a Queen song, it's really melodic and very powerful, and the dynamics (are) really cool."
