Some of them make one wonder how they got past the auditions.

Another of what I think is the purpose of this round.

So glad they saved the worst for last. Wasn't this bad last week.

My thoughts--

1. Direct comparison against each other.
2. Siphon out diva attitudes.
3. Siphon out those with good voices buno talent for harmony.
4. Find those who may have that something something that makes them stand out.

Those make sense. I have to say the biggest thing I think is just to see who looks out of place on the stage. Some people just look like a deer in the headlights and when they are with the people who can perform it really stands out.

He is a cute kid and there is talent there, but I think he is too young for this competition

So the kid is still there. It's so funny, he reminds me of all those little 15-16 year olds that I trained at my old job. His personality is so much like one of them and it makes me smile because that kid was such a riot to train and the customers just loved him.

That was really bad. I didn't think she was that good when they put her through so I am not surprised...OK, a little surprised because that was so off.
