American Idol Season 13 Official Thread

My kids and I all thought Jlo was a bit over the top in her routine...some of the dancing was a bit . The kids actually thought she was trying to act like Beyonce and not succeeding. I don't think Jlo has learned the whole less is more style of entertaining.

The song with Harry and Keith? I hated her "cutsie" voice she was trying to do...it was so annoying. On the Fleetwood Mac portion she was OK but again had to start trying to do the over the top moves and the Stevie Nicks turns.

Finally all caught up.

Great job to Caleb. Glad he won.
Well done to Jena. She did fantastic to finish second.

I enjoyed the judges singing together. DH and I had a little 'blue' and difference of opinion with JLo. I think she should have dressed differently. DH thought she looked great. M-E-N! :rotfl:

Now.....if only we could convince Keith to come out in Blue (ala James Bond).

I was just coming over here to post the same thing. I remember Robin really liked him. Way to young to die..and from a blood clot. :sad2::sad1:

It's hitting the Idol community hard, if anyone ventures over to MJ's blog people are posting idols reactions from several different seasons who know him.

Talented guy gone way to soon.

I just found out. I cannot believe it. It's shocking. So very very sad. I loved him in 2008. Boy...what a shock.

....what I can't believe is that they[the hospital] didn't do further tests on him, but just let him go home....:confused3

....yes, I read that on the other thread....thank goodness!

My big sister is a very YOUNG 71 and her husband is 72. They are a fun, happy, traveling couple who do EVERYTHING together now that they're both retired.

My sister survived the blood clot and her husband survived prostate cancer, all in one year. They celebrate their 50th year of marriage next year, thank God they made it this far.
