American Idol Season 13 Official Thread

Baby and Sweetie are pretty common down here. Usually it is a habit but some do it to seem more personable.

Anyway, I am loving this season. Harry is a great judge and he knows what he is talking about. I do think there was one that he sort of dismissed just for lack of musical term knowledge.

Hoping there are some WOWS that we didn't see in the auditions.

My sister does it (the baby thing). Drives me batty.

Somehow, when Keith Urban says Baby, it is ridiculously adorable!

Enjoyed the first two nights, and I agree, waiting for the "blow me away" folks. DH watched almost every moment of both nights (0n the other TV) that's unusual, but it does reflect the attempt of the producers to not focus on the clunkers, he always hated that part.

I agree about Baby and Sweetie. I think JLo uses it particularly with the young ones. It seems to be kind of a gentle term of endearment.

Harry is just a wonderful judge. I love the chemistry between the three this year, it's back to being fun to watch!

I just wanted to say I gave up on Idol last season. I could not stand Nikki, Mariah and Randy. But my husband taped it for the kids this week and I started watching and.......I'm officially hooked!

I love both Keith and Jennifer but I especially love Harry!!

Don't know if any of you read

People.com, but there is a 30 second of Keith being "Dreamy" on it. After watching it yesterday, and then watching Thursday nights show, it really seems as if the camera goes to Keith an wakeful lot when the contestants are signing. Of course I noticed this, and the next shot was HCjr, lol.

I also love the changes they seem to be making, however I miss seeing as much of Ryan. Just seems we barely see him now.

There is one thing I don't like, what's with the chamber? It is kind of creepy! Lol Of course I have to admit I am claustrophobic.
