I'm actually looking forward to a Mariah/Nicki/Randy Dog FREE season!

Just wondering if anyone was invited to this preview:

I checked and the preview is VERY near my home so I rsvp'd! We'll see if I can make it there by 6pm ..

LOL, Mandy, I never started one of these before but I had to post that preview. Looks like I won't be going either, I have to work till 6 and my son DOES NOT WANT TO GO! My BF is a teacher miles away and he also refuses to go . I don't know why I even considered it since I usuallly don't watch the first shows.

I'm ready! I wish they hadn't brought back Jennifer Lopez, but she's better than the two female judges they had last year . The choice of male judges has given me hope for the show . I was ready to give up after last year.

I have hope, I've been watching a lot of the youtube videos they have up and I have laughed more then I have in a while. I have yet to want to bang my head against the wall like last season.

We're happy here. Not a fan of JLo's music, but enjoyed her very much as a judge last time around, ditto for Urban. HC Jr. could make it 3 for 3

Both were bad but at least Mariah was kind to the kids. Nicki seemed to want to make the show all about HER.

I liked JLo until the Jessica Sanchez fiasco. She really needs to take acting classes , it was so blantantly BAD. But it is a job she's getting paid for, I can't fault her for that. And she was sooooo sincere in her caring of the contestants.

I am thrilled with the male judges. Eye candy all the way and I liked Keith last year and I've always thought Harry Connick Jr. would be an awesome judge.

JLo? Wasn't thrilled with her blatant gushing favoritism...but after last year she is a welcome add back to the show.

Only thing better would have been getting Neil Patrick Harris on the show. Gotta love Doogie.

I'm usually a lurker because Australian PayTV usually runs AI about 1 - 3 weeks later than your programming. So, I've normally just checked in if I want some spoilers.

However, this year....it seems that Aussie PayTV is going to fast track the episodes. *Only* hours behind your telecast. I guess that means about 6'ish hours behind. So, I'll get to comment on the performances before the elimination show for a change.

Looking forward to a new season with fresh judges.

I will be hanging out too! I am a HUGE, HUGE Harry Connick fan. If he is in it then I am there. I am also not a huge fan that they brought back Jennifer but eh. I can tolerate w/ Keith and Harry.

I am addicted to singing competitions. As I kid I watched Star Search. Now I watch Australia's and UK's singing competition on youtube. (yes I am pathetic and sad but mostly just in awe that ppl can sing). Because my family knows that I can't at.all.

Candice will drop Feb 18th along with a special to promote it. Kree isn't signed currently.

It seems like it's taken a l-o-n-g time this time for the winner's album to come out. That happened with X Factor too. I hate it when the new season starts and the winner's album hasn't even come out yet.
