I don't get the Curtis love. He can sing, no doubt about it, but I prefer someone who sings effortlessly. I liked Lazaro and Paul much better. I see a much less likeable Reuben Stoddard in Curtis.

Curtis is really good at ballads and songs that sound like gospel hymns, but can he sing something current?

Curtis can REALLY sing. Best of the guys by a mile, and better than most of the girls. And yet, I can't wait for him to be gone

My 18 year old son walked in while I was watching AI and said "who is that guy, he sounds really cheesy?" - I'm thinking Curtis is not going to impress the young people. Of course I don't know any actual young people who watch this show. Young as in under 25.

I really like this guys voice...but the singing in Spanish is going to get old fast.


I just love listening to him sing though. Of course I am a sucker for these kind of songs.
