American Idol: Season 11 OFFICIAL thread!

I said previously that I'm glad they're showing so much less of the loons and more of the actual singers. That said, I don't even pay much attention until they get to Hollywood and we can start learning more about the contestants. I've seen one or two so far that I really have my eye on, but nothing super memorable yet. For example, I remember seeing Kelly Clarkson at her first audition and thinking "She's my favorite", and Clay I had in my sights from day one too. Adam and Chris Daughtry too.

Daughtry is coming to Buffalo in March. I wonder if I can talk DH into going? He did say he liked his voice when he "discovered" him on youtube. He was raving about him and I had to remind him that I do watch Idol and that's where he was first seen.

If I was into Daughtry I would go see him here, he's playing the Ryman and it's like one of my top favorite venues.

He's playing at a really old place here too..it is gorgeous. And it is nice to see a show there..usually it is the plays that come here..but concerts are good too.

I've been listening to Daughtry's new CD in the car. Good so far!

Bailey, not that I remember her, deserved her second chance.

And for Kristine, not smart to not pay her lawyer... and then admit that fact on tv.

I love how the makeup and hair people are trying to work while she's having a flip out. Though I did agree, the girl wasn't good.
