American Idol Conspiracy????

I couldn't get over how much they harped on "make sure you vote for your favorite" last night. I know it was shocking to see Ruben in the bottom 2, but would they have gone so far if it had been Clay? I think it is their conspiracy to get Ruben to win. I like him, but he just doesn't have a different sound to his voice, Clay does. I tried to vote for 2 hours straight last night and only got through 6 times, Clay better not be in the bottom 2 or something is definately fishy on that show. I like Ruben but Clay deserves to win. This is just my opinion of what happened.

My DH thinks the same thing is going on for ratings. I wouldn't mind if Ruben won but I am hoping it's Clay!

I couldn't get through for Rueben. I doubt there is any conspiracy. I'm hoping it will be Kim and Josh in the bottom two with Josh (of course) getting the boot.

Clay and Rueben are at about the same level and it's going to be tough to pick between the two.

All I can say is GO CLAY!!! I sat on the phone and just kept hitting redial for almost the whole 2 hours, and I got through more times than I want to admit, lol! I like Ruben, but I really hope Clay wins!

I couldn't get thru either, first time too. I think it will be Josh and Kimberly in the final 2 and (maybe) Kimberly will go.

I've always thought Ruben was a show, judge, audience favorite but he does NOTHING for me! I was actually excited he was in the bottom 2 last week...knock him down a few pegs.

I couldn't get through last night, either.... Reuben's line was lit up the entire two hours!

I love Reuben AND Clay. It looks to me that the bottom 2 "conspiracy" will give it to Reuben, though.

I don't think there is a conspiracy to have Ruben win as much as the conspiracy might just be to boost ratings and revenue. I have heard theories about Ruben in the bottom two being the conspiracy. Last week was such a shocker that it was a perfect opportunity to push the voting thing more. AT&T is making loads off the text voting, and the more votes, the better for AI to get sponsorship $$$.

(And I almost wish there was some sort of conspiracy for last week, because Ruben definitely didn't deserve to be in the bottom two)

I was a little disappointed last week when the judges and Ryan (who I adore) practically lectured the "voting public"... I do not feel that he deserved to be down, although he is not my favorite... but I also do not think the lecture thing was right... It pulled on the underdog loving part of me...
IMO, I would like to see Kim go tonight (although Josh probably deserves to), Josh next, followed by Ruben and Clay as the winner...

I'm positive there's a conspiracy and most everything -- including Ruben in the bottom two -- is arranged! My theory is Ruben wasn't getting enough votes, so they put him in the bottom two for ratings and to encourage people to vote for him.
