dd wants Kit I plan on buying it for her I let her go through the magazine and asked her to circle things she really wanted well she circled 90% of the book LOL. anyway I cant pay that much for the accessories. Where can I get knock off AG accessories and what accessories do your girls really play with ?

Target has knock off beds and clothes, however if your DD wants specific clothing to that era then Target won't be of much help. Their clothing and furniture is more for a doll of today.

There are sellers on ebay that sell knock off period clothing, if you type in Kit clothes in the search I am sure they will come up. Ebay sellers also sell the used clothing and furniture, but sometimes I think to myself I'd rather spend the extra $15 for the furniture from the AG store then get it used b/c at least I could return it w/o a hassle if there is a problem.

DD has Kit, its her favorite, she has Molly and Samantha too, but Kit is by far the most played with.

Another thing that I do, and it has worked wonders for me is go to consignment shops.
Last month I got a retired doll that sells on ebay for $160+ for $60 and I didn't have to do a thing to her, I think she sat on a shelf and was never played with.
I also got Kit's roll top desk and chair for $30, which sells on the AG site for $70, so I made out good.
And Kits PJs for $10 and Samantha's winter coat for $10 all of these things were in great condition! I have also gotten other AG clothing items from consignment shops too.
People sometimes have luck with yard and garage sales, but I haven't.
O and as far as what DD plays with in terms of accessories, she loves the beds. I also got her a tent from Target.com last year for christmas which she adores. From AG, she loves any type of food accessory and school items. She also loves the animals.
