American Girl HELP!

I know there have to be some knowledgeable American girl people on this board. I need help. I purchased Samantha, Kit, and a bunch of accessories off of my Facebook yard sale group for a steal. One of the items I recieved is a globe (as in a world globe.) I can not find ANY information on it any where on the web. I have tried the AG wbsite, the agplaythings website, ebay, amazon, and google. Nada. Can anybody tell me what set or which doll it goes with? I was guessing Kit since I also got her papers and typewriter, but I have had no luck there. TIA!

I'm not an expert on all things AG but I used this site to search for some old/retired AG sets I picked up at a yard sale. Good luck with your search!

From what I know, neither Kit nor Samantha have a globe. I'm actually not sure if AG ever made a globe, even for their modern lines, but I could be wrong. It could possibly be something that someone found and added to their collection because it was the right scale?

I don't remember a globe either. I'm thinking someone put it w/ AG stuff because it was the right size. We have quite a lot of that kind of stuff.

I'm not a home right now to snap a pic, but it is similar to this:

The base is a little different though. It is solid on the bottom not hollow. I can't find any markings on it at all. I'm wondering now if it's like Pottery Barn or something? It is wood and fairly heavy for it's size, def NOT Walmart or Target type thing. Thank you guys!

Some of the other chain stores such as Target sell "18 inch doll sets" (I forget the name) and have many cute accessories that work well with the AG series. My daughter has many of these items. Though I'm not certain your globe is from one of these lines, it very well could be. Hope this helps!

I bought Kit, Samantha, typewriter, box of papers, Kit's purse with hankie and coin, table of some sort (no markings wrought iron base), a stool, globe, books, and back pack for... $60. They typewriter alone is gonig for $75-$100 on ebay.

Wow! That's an awesome deal! I've been collecting for Kit, and the price for the typewriter is crazy.
