American Girl Free Shipping?

Since it doesn't look like QVC will be having their show for American Girl this year I was hoping to atleast get free shipping. Does anyone remember when they had this last year, or has anyone heard anything about it this year? Sure would be nice to save 20 bucks on shipping. Thanks

I believe it's usually in November they have free shipping (possibly October). I'm fairly certain they usually only have the free shipping twice a year. Before Easter and before Christmas. I completely understand about savings $$ on their shipping! I use to live 10 minutes from the warehouse they ship out of and it killed me to pay their high shipping... of course I always got my stuff super fast so that was nice LOL

Saw the same thread, but it was also pointed out that by November, you do run the risk of more popular items backordered. Can be a gamble!

Guess I will order now if its not until November. I am scared that Kanani will be backordered if I wait. 20 bucks seems like a lot for shipping! But then again 128 on a doll and her tiny stuffed animal!

I would be surprised if Kanani was backordered/sold out. Chrissa and Lanie were sold up until 12/31, so they never sold out. But, I think Lanie's camper went quick.

I told my DD from the beginning that she wouldn't get one at Christmas if QVC didn't sell them (I get a discount). Today, she told me she was fine with a La La Loopsy doll instead... Kids are so funny! They don't really understand.

Anyway, she's getting Julie for her birthday--I picked her up at the Q a couple years ago. That will make five, which I feel is more than enough, even though we won Rebecca at the AG Fashion Show. I guess I could always keep Julie until Christmas, though, hmmm...

I did ask on AG's facebook page, and they said there were no plans for a QVC show at this time. So bummed!

My daughter and I have been waiting for months for free shipping to come out so she can get her Addy doll I promised her.

Since they opened a new store in Seattle I finally gave up and used southwest and bestwestern points to head up there for the weekend. Using the points it is only going to cost us $30-$40 more than shipping would have been and this way we get a mother/daughter weekend out of it.

Out trip is October 6th-8th so free shipping should be announced on the 9th
