We're cleaning out the attic and came across my daughters AG dolls We have at least 6 dolls, bitty baby and bitty baby twins, stroller, clothes and furniture. Is it worth keeping?

My mom kept mine. Now I'm having a daughter and I don't have to buy her any dolls or clothes (at least for a very long time)! If you have the room, its definitely worth saving them IMO.

If it were me, I would at least save whatever was her favorite. My mom decided to throw away all of my toys in a spring cleaning and I regret not having anything from my childhood. If you don't have room for everything - I'm sure you can sell some of the AG stuff.

I have two dolls (Molly and Samantha) and a bitty baby with accessories for both that I have kept. My parents spent so much money on them, and I loved them to pieces that I am saving them for any future daughters I have.

I am saving my DD's for my future grandchildren.:goodvibes I am also saving my son's wooden Thomas the Train sets too. ;)

My daughter had one that I have stored in my cedar chest with the outfits, in hopes of someday having a granddaughter!

When DD outgrows her AG collection, I plan on saving almost all of it for her. :)

Absolutely they are worth keeping! The sentimental value alone is worth the cost. My DD and DS (now in college) were enchanted when they got my husband's old legos and my old books.
My husband wrapped our DD's AG dolls in archival paper before storing them. (we are in Colorado so no humidity and the attic is fine here for things.

I grew up with Samantha. My mom saved her and now my DD plays with her, along with her own bitty babies and bitty twins. I will also be saving DD's dolls for my future granddaughters.

They are well worth saving IMO but if you do decide to get rid of them my daughter would gladly take them off your hands :rotfl:

We saved the AG girls and a few of the bitties, along with most of the clothes and accessories, but NOT the furniture. The furniture, in my mind, is kind of junky plastic and not worth keeping. If my girls have girls someday, we'll buy some nice wooden doll furniture or overpay again for new AG stuff.:)

I think they are worth saving. I'm saving my DD's.

And I'm also saving the huge Thomas the Tank train set. It started out small but by the time the kids were done with it, I had alot of money invested in it.
I also think because it's wooden, it will be something that will last a long time and is a classic.

I definitely think they're worth saving- I'm saving mine for when I have kids. The retired dolls also seem to gain some monetary value, but I'm saving them for the sentimental value alone.

My DD5 just got her first bitty baby. I pulled out all my old doll clothes that my mom had saved (not bitty baby...cabbage patch/etc.) and she actually likes those clothes better than the newer clothes she has! It is also fun to see the different colors that were in style when I was younger!

So, I would definitely keep the dolls and clothes. But, if you decide not too....I'll take them off your hands too! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: There is a good resell value for them on eBay!

We have 11 AG dolls saved for future granddaughters. Along with the dolls, we have outfits, books, and tons of accessories. I managed to save all of the original boxes they came in, so that's what they are stored in (in the acid-free paper).

So, YES -- they are worth saving.

Yes! I've had my AG doll in storage for about 15 yrs now - it's a doll they don't make any more so it wouldn't be replaceable except on ebay.

Dds each have two AG dolls - one historic and one doll of the year, and they have all retired. Dds have already had many conversations about saving them for their dds to play with, guess they made that decision for us:lovestruc.
