Anyone have any $ off codes or free shipping for AGD? Thanks!

Alot of people are asking for the same thing. A couple weeks ago I did a search on the boards and came up with a code for free shipping and posted. Several people said it did not work any longer. So, sorry to say.. I don't think there are any codes right now. If there are, I hope someone posts them!

Good luck..

The free shipping code did not work for me either and this was last month. I have not heard of any new codes. I wonder if when the new Felicity movie (on tv in Nov) comes out on DVD they will have that $10 off code in the DVD's like they did with the Samantha DVD. That was a great code. I used it about 5 times!

Off topic, but did you see the new Elizabeth doll? She is Felicity's friend and comes out in September. Right now only girls in the club can order her. She is really pretty and right in time for Christmas! :flower:

Another movie and another doll! We actually loved the Samantha movie. Hopefully there will be a code with the new movie. Codes for AG seem to be very rare!

I found these codes over on www.dealhunting.com.

Thanks Cocowum! I just bought red Holdiay dress for my DD for Christmas along with the matching Bitty Baby outfit... Both were on clearance and the extra 10% save a few $$....

We too LOVED the Samantha movie. In fact, we just watched it a couple days ago. We look forward to the Felicity movie in November!

We just visited the AG Store in NYC this past weekend. What a blast! The three adult women had as much fun as my 11 1/2 yr old daughter. I highly recommend a trip if you are in the area. We had brunch, 18 per plate, a new hairstyle for Kaya for $20 (it happened to be her celebration day the day we were there : - )) and various other purchases, mostly for future gifts. ALl told, we were at the store for about 5 h ours!

Such fun.

For anyone who is close to AGD place in NYC I highly reccommend it! Last December I took my 9 year old there for her birthday. We did the "day package" where you get spending $ towards merchandise in the store, a birthday button, lunch at the cafe, & tickets to the AGD theater which was great. I had a special birthday cake made for her & the waitstaff came out & sang to her. It was really nice & worth every penny....she came home with Kit & some outfits as her presents. Lots of fun.

There were two birthdays being celebrated when we were there and we all joined in to sing HBD. Also, we called to make advance reservations (2.50 charge) and the entire day was sold out from brunch to dinner. However, the reservation agent suggested that we keep calling, especially closer to the date, to see if there had been any canellations. She also told us about the wait list that starts at 9:00 am (store opening) on the day of your visit if you still don't get a reservation via phone prior to your visit. You cannot be put on a wait list before the store opens for the day, you have to do it in person. That said, when we arrived at the cafe, there were openings for all mealtimes (brunch, lunch and dinner) but still no openings for tea so we could have just showed up that day and gotten a meal time of our choice. One of the reasons I opted for brunch was because it was the least expensive meal (18 per).
Well, well, well worth the time and money.

Thanks so much for posting the codes. I have been searching for a discount for a couple of weeks now. My daughter's birthday is coming up and we need to stock up on those new Bitty Baby items!

We were just at the American Girl Place on monday for my daughters best friends birthday. We've been there before, but never to the cafe for lunch. Boy, I was pleasantly surprised! The food was great, and alot of it, and it wasn't that expensive - $22/person. That's great for NYC standards!! We had so much fun, that I booked a lunch for my daughters 6th bd in november. I could only get a 2:30 lunch because it was all booked up, the lady told me that they are already into next march with the bookings, so if you want to go, call EARLY.

My DD just turned 9 and I hadn't paid much attention to the AG dolls because she doesn't play much with dolls and I thought she was outgrowing them, but someone on here mentioned books so I checked out their website last night and I was so impressed! I have a wishlist of their books now that I want for her! I probably still won't get any dolls since she isn't into that (although I thought that stuff was adorable). Does anyone have the books? Any opinions?

YOu guys are making me want to go to NYC--"I" want to go to AGP. LOL!

So does anybody know when they do get codes---and when is the best time to order stuff for Christmas---so we are safe to assume that it will arrive by Christmas?

We have all the books. They are very nice, you can get a set for each doll. We got ours at Barnes and Noble and they cost a little less than the AG site...I have gotten some sets on Ebay as well. The personal grooming books are wonderful. We have most of those too. There is one for skin and nails I just got at Target today for $2.24. "The Care and Keeping Of Me" is the best for a growing up girl. DD has the dolls and things but really doesn't play with dolls either, she does love to read however.

The personal grooming ones and the other book you mentioned were the ones I was looking at, I also liked the Guide to Friends, or something like that and one about emotions. My DD reads all the time and she absorbs EVERYTHING she reads so I thought these would be good for us to go through together and talk about. I asked her if she had read any AG books and she said "Yeah, my friend gave me one" and brought me a "Hopscotch School" book. I thought it was cute, but she's way too old for it now.
