American girl doll fan

Hi, we are visiting the World in November DD is a huge fan. Can you buy clothes, costumes etc that fit the American Girl Doll? Disney related. I thought someone out there would know. My DD wants to buy a doll in China. Do they have reasonable $$ dolls?

I think the Disney Doll looks similiar to the American Girl doll.. so I assume those clothes will fit your doll too... maybe someone knows for sure!

People have posted that the Disney Doll clothing fits their AG doll, but we have the older (pre-Mattel buyout) dolls and the clothing does not fit. The older, collector-version AG dolls are a bit plumper in the middle...

I have an older, plumper AG doll and even the new AG clothes don't fit.

We're planning on getting a few outfits on our upcoming trip (for the new AG; Samantha is outta luck). I heard they have the princess, minnie and tinkerbell outfits throughout MK and DTD. I don't know about China, but supposedly Germany is the place to buy the dirndl-clad dolls.

From my experience, the doll outfits we have bought at WDW have fit my DD's AG doll. Sometimes it is snug, but worth it. The Ariel costume is adorable but you need to coax the top over the doll with one arm up,then the other arm up. The Jasmine costume is perfect. I plan on getting Belle and Snow White for Christmas. My DD adores them. I think they cost $25 on site. They are sooo worth it.
