American girl doll and Target Our Generation Doll Clothes

Has anyone bought any Our Generation Doll clothes from Target and used them for American Girl Doll. Both dolls are 18 inches and I was wondering how was the fit? I just can't see paying $22.00 or more for an outfit. By the way, Our Generation Doll outfits I was able to find for $6.99 and I couldn't pass it up!. TIA

They fit, some things are tight, and the shoes don't fit at all. My DD has an American Girl Doll, and Our Generation Girl Doll, and the Disney Girl Doll (from the princess tea). I don't think she has tried the clothes on her Disney Doll yet.

My mom works for the company that makes the American Girl dolls, and she said that they are pretty much scale "knock-offs"

I had asked her for my fiance's little sister loves American Girl dolls and had asked for outfits for her doll for Christmas. I too plan on buying these less expensive outfits from targer for her. Especially because my fiance and I are on such a tight budget.

I have also found that some of the Disney Girl doll clothes dont fit exactly right either..especially the shoes!

My daughter has one Target outfit that she puts on her American Girl dolls. The fit of the outfit and boots it came with is VERY snug.
I will not be buying anymore of the outfits from Target for my own DD and would never buy them as a gift because of the poor fit.

I bought the equestrian clothes at Target- It fits great but the boots would not go on until I cut a little slit in the back of the boot.
After Christmas those outfits at Target will probably go on clearance- I think you can get the full outfits for around $5.
