I am dying to order the new Lanie stuff, but I just can't stomach paying the high AG prices as well as twenty two dollars in shipping charges.

So this is the code watch thread! If you know any deals or get any info on a code..please post for the rest of us.

I was so excited because I just got an email from them- no code. You guys are killing me.

years past at some point during the year movies have came out with codes on them for free shipping... I hope a code comes out too... but we are going in Feb to Atlanta to get Lanie stuff... but a code would be nice too..

They run the sale more than twice a year- I just don't pay attention too much to exactly when. I remember specifically ordering Chrissa in early January last year and it wasn't but a week that a code came off for "$5 off the GOTY with free ship". Luckily I they gave me a PA, but I think it's because I didn't even receive my order in the mail yet. I probably should google it to see when historically they have codes..I know for sure they did one in January, September, and November last year for the free ship...can't remember much else...dang old lady brain.

BTW, I would be on cloud nine to have a store near me. Seriously. There isn't one within an 8 hour drive unfortunately.

I gave up this afternoon. I was hoping there would be a code today now that the holiday weekend is over, but nothing. I am thinking the next chance of a code is January 11 or so, whenever the new specials reset. I didn't want to wait that long, so I ordered today. It killed me to pay $23 in shipping though, ugh!

We were at AG in Chicago on Saturday. Lanie is so adorable that when you get her it will be worth the shipping. Also, considering that tax (in Chicago) is 10% and then we paid for parking. You are "ahead of the game" by ordering it and paying shipping

DD had her heart set on a Just Like Me doll, but really wants Lanie now also.

DD was saving her allowance, birthday money and christmas money for a set of bitty twins, but saw Lanie and it was love at first sight. We picked her up at the Atlanta store this morning. I was a bit surprised at how busy the store was, there were also only a few Lanie dolls left but I'm sure they'll quickly restock. One of the sales ladies mentioned they were already sold out of the camper though and that sucker is pricey! Very cool, but $$$. DD got the starter set and the pjs and is already calculating how many weeks she'll have to save up her allowance to get the animal friends and hammock.

I was going to order her but the 25.00 in shipping I can't do it. I will wait til the free shipping offer or drive to the ag in Boston in the spring. I'm putting away 10.00 in cash a week to get her the camper for either her birthday or christmas. I was going to order Lanie,assecories,pj's,hamock and her furry friends. This will be her 1st Ag doll. I was thinking of giving it to her for her dance recital.

It looked like so much fun! The bed folds down from the wall, DD was trying to convince me that it'd be a perfect bed for Lanie since we still need to buy a bed for her. Good idea, but no. We'll probably get a generic bunk bed, just in case Lanie finds a friend in the next few years.

I like this idea, makes the purchase a little less painful. I might borrow this from you.

In 2009, they first sold them during XMas in July--7/25. Not sure about this year yet, but I will post when I see an ad for them on QVC.

And today....I stand here kicking myself in the butt b/c on their last special they had Ruthie, her accessories, book, and Pajama outfit for $75 I believe it was....I can't get JUST THE DOLL for $75 and it was cheap to ship too! DD is REALLY enjoying her Kit that she got for Christmas.
