Does anyone know of a discount? My DD has decided that she want them, and I cannot even BELIEVE that I am contemplating spending $100 on 2 dolls!!!!

I have tried showing her the My Generation dolls that Target offers and they are a NO GO. She keeps bringing the American Girl catalog to me and saying "THIS ONE", lol...

Just wait, when she moves up to the regular AG dolls, you'll be spending $100 on one doll!!

I am looking at about $240 on AG this christmas--all my DD wants is AG stuff and a new doll so she can go on line with it. Oh, and I was informed this morning that Felicity needs glasses and the dolls are working on their lists for Santa...

Welcome to the club! DD7 has two Bitty babies, the twins, and she is getting her first 18 inch doll for her 8th birthday. Bitty and the twins are so much nicer than the other baby dolls she has, so I have been OK with the money so far.

Many years ago I bought DD Samantha and Molly and numerous outfits in the hope of turning my little tomboy into a princess. I love AG stuff and now have a DGD (only 10 months old) can't wait to buy the dolls for her. Have fun with your little princesses and their dolls!!

I scored a Bitty Baby at our temple yard sale for $3 and am sending it to the doll hospital for new eyes (it's missing an eyelash). Then I plan to get a couple of newborn-sized outfits for her (LOL!) She is virtually naked at the moment.
