:laundy:I am thinking of buying the Generation Girl bathtub at Target for dd's American girl doll. The AG catalog shows their bathtub comes with some kind of plastic "bubbles".
Anyone have this and have any idea how I could make my own? Are they hard plastic of soft? Thanks for any ideas! $50 is a lot of money for a doll bathtub!

My daughter got the Target version last year and loves it. The bottles are plastic but the bathtub comes in white or a color (pink or purple) and comes with a robe for the doll and towels. I recently purchased one for my niece for Christmas since she loves my daughter's so much. I would highly recommend it. It has provided hours of fun for my daughter.

I also have purchased the doll clothes from Target and my daughter loves them as well. I do love the American Girl clothes and accessories but I can get twice sometimes three times as much at Target. I have never had a problem with anything Our Generation from Target.

The bubbles are a hard plastic. I would look around Michaels or another craft store. The small styrofoam spheres might work as bubbles!

My girls got the bath tub before it came with bubbles and they still have tons of fun with it.

I was wondering if anyone saw the Generation Girl Kitchen. DD says is it like Kit's kitchen?!?

I was wondering about its quality. It would make a great double gift for both my girls from their aunt.

My daughter's friend has the Our Generation kitchen and loves it. The quality is good and is a favorite when my daughter goes to play at her house.

I just saw the doll kitchen in Target the other day and it's sooo cute!! It reminds me of something from Pottery Barn Kids. It's hard having a girl...I need to have self control a lot over my spending on girly stuff LOL

I got the Our Generation Horse last year for $19.99 a little before Christmas but I will say don't wait long. I know on Black Friday my Super Target had holes in the walls from people buying accessories and clothes.

The OG Kitchen is on sale right now for $49.99- $10.00 off. Walmart actually has the best AG size horse- it has fur and it can be posed. It's $34.99 at our Walmart but people in other cities have reported getting it for $29.99- there are a few versions- black and brown, Western, etc. The OG armoire is also on sale and is a great value. As to the bubbles- I wouldn't go there. The doll can't really bathe while sitting amidst plastic "bubbles". I found the old version of the OG tub for $6.95- check in the back of the display! The only difference was that mine is white vs. pink.---Kathy
