As far as I know, dolls don't really go on sale, just outfits, accessories and some other miscellanious stuff. Last year the starter collection minus Bitty herself was on sale.

I definately wouldn't buy any accessories for Bitty until Monday. Last year, there were several Bitty outfits (twin and baby ... the twins and the baby are the same size, so the clothes are interchangeable) for roughly 1/2 price ... also accessories and fun stuff for cheap.

They currently have free shipping on orders over $100 until 11/20 so if you were planning on getting a doll or a lot of accessories I would take advantage of that instead of any discounts on Cyber Monday. Their shipping charges are so much they pretty much knock out any savings I have found during their Cyber Monday sale. The good stuff sells out really quick as well and I have had trouble getting the cart to load and be able to check out before everything is gone.

I have recently been checking out American girl...i have three nieces, 2 that are 2.5 (twins) and one that is 1.5. Are my girls too young? And...(more importantly) am i crazy for even thinking of starting this?

Way too young for American girl dolls. My 5 yr old plays with one but she just started and she only plays with it because she wants to play with her older sisters.

Your little ones would be more ideal for the bitty babies.

Yes, they are too young for the American Girls. Bitty Baby would be more appropriate for their ages.

I've been checking into this too and here's what I've heard. Like pps said, the big deal is the cyber monday sale starting 12 am CT sharp. You'd better be ready to pick and load fast and be prepared for frustration. BF itself at the store usually has a buy something over X amount and get a discount on a clothing item but not anything remarkable quite frankly.

This...But for the price of the itty bitty baby you can go with the Little Mommy doll and get several accessories I.e. stroller, bag, etc.with it or when i figured out my DD(3) was all about an 18 in doll with lots of hair i just went to Walmart and got a similar AG looking generic brand 18in doll placed it the box DD(7)'s most recent AG doll was shipped in and DD(3) is quite happy ;0) and there is peace in my home.
