Is this part of the now closed Studio Back Lot Tour? It says it's in the Streets of America.

Do you know just walk through? Or do they still have the trams?

Or is the Studio Back Lot Tour Closed? It's listed under the attraction list on the WDW website for HS

1 & 4- Yes, it's a part of the Backlot Tour. The Tour was not closed permanently. It was closed for a refurb.

2- You can. You can do so without going through the Backlot Tour, as well, by just walking to the exhibit hall.

3- Yes. (When the Tour is not in refurb.)

Backlot Tour is open, the AFI is the last part of the tour, basically it's the exit of it. After you get off the tram (red shuttles) you walk thru the exhibit. It has several things from movies and musicals. Then it goes out onto the gift shop.

Can you just walk through the showcase without doing the backlot tour? Curious as to why they have it listed seperately.

yeah typing at the same time.
You don't have to ride backlot tour to expierence the exhibit. Just walk toward the Monsters Inc Meet and greet and you'll see the gift shop. Go inside and walk thru it and you'll find it
