American Express????

I was wondering if anyone knew if American Express was accepted throughout the park. My teenage son has his own money and I don't like sending him off on his own with cash so I was going to get the American Express "gift card" in lieu of travelers checks. Will it be accepted in the park? I can't find a bank that does Visa gift cards. Any suggestions? We leave tomorrow....

I can't say the entire park but that's what we used in November.

If you are staying on site your son can use his room key to charge things to the room....

unfortunately we aren't staying at the park but glad to know that the AMEX should be able to be used most everywhere.

YAAAY This is my first trip to Disney since 1977!!!!! And I wasn't very old then so I only remember limited things and I think it has changed quite a bit as well!!!!!!
