American Express Travellers Cheque Card

Has this card been cancelled? We were give one of these instead of travellers cheques earlier this year but I've heard that they are being discontinued by Oct. We've heard nothing and we're not going on holiday until Dec. I have picked this up wrong? Thanks Kxx

If you phone them up they will give you your money back at the same exchange rate as you changed it for. We did this and then bought travellers cheque dollars with the money at a better exchange rate!! Its a shame really as I found the card very convenient to use.
