American Express Small Business Saturday

Maybe this will help others...

Will be in WDW 11/26/11 which is AmEx's Small Business Saturday. Found out that Raglan Road and Bongos at DTD are listed as small businesses. Was planning to be at Raglan Rd anyway. As I understand it, if I buy at least $25 worth of something (maybe Guiness???) using my AmEx card I will get $25 account credit.

Free beer!!!

There were lots more locations in the WDW area listed on the website.

Loving the free money!

I was one of the tenacious, lucky few who was able to also snag a Fedex/Amex $25 Small Business GC. It came in the mail Saturday. Between that and this $25 Amex statement credit, I'll be able to add some nice little presents to my holiday gift pile!

Thanks. I signed up for both DH and I a few weeks ago, and since found out we would be in the WDW area. I was wondering how we were going to handle it. Very timely!

Me too! I tried looking in the usual "googling" way, but no dice. If I had a link or at least a way to find out, I'd be grateful.

To find the Amex list of Small Businesses, do this:

1) log into Facebook
2) search for "small business saturday"
3) click on the link to open the page.

Or, you can just sign in and follow this link: https://www.facebook.com/SmallBusinessSaturday?sk=app_183558821725512

4) Scroll down on that page.

5) Look for the section that starts with big, blue letters reading:
* SHOP SMALL AND GET $25 BACK *
... below it is a paragraph describing the program, with a line that reads:
+ See where you can shop to earn your $25 statement credit

6) Click the plus sign and a search box will open. Put in the zip code (req'd) and any other optional criteria (name/cat/subcat)

7) Click GO

I decided to check again to see if more places were added, and instead, there are fewer listings under the 32830 zipcode. In fact, I don't see Raglan Rd anymore or Bongo's, or any of the other places I wrote down the other day. Anyone know what's going on?

Do you remember how long it took to get your email? I followed the link to facebook, filled out my info and clicked on "Register Card" yesterday but still haven't received an email confirming. ?

I registered my Am Ex card the other day, but I'm confused. The Am Ex website says to use the card at any small business on Saturday for $25 or more to get the $25 credit, but Am Ex's FB site makes it seem like you can only use the ones from the list . Anyone know the real deal?
