American Express gift cards - usable in WDW?

I can get American Express gift cards at a discount at Publix. Just wondering if they are accepted in WDW? We've had issues with them not being accepted many places in the past, despite places actually accepting AmEx credit cards.

Or if we get the discounted Amex gc at publix, can we immediately turn it around to pay for a Disney gift card?

I've had no problem using AmEx gift cards at WDW. We've used them for dining and shopping, both in the parks and at DTD.

We actually won 15 amex $100 gift cards the day before we left for WDW and we were able to use them everywhere!
