Oh gosh it was so good.
Meg and Sam went to the college to protest the war. They got arrested and were taken away in handcuffs at the end of the show.
Patty had her first date...she went with geek kid to see Sound of Music. Jack tagged along, but left galf way through, so Patty got kissed, on the cheek.
Jack is running for councilman. To get the support of the Catholic community he was advised to say Beth and JJ were married. He and Helen had a coffee party for church members and the priest announced that Beth and JJ had married and Beth was pregnant. Jack stood up and said, no, they were not married.
Helen saw her new coworker and his boyfriend exchange a brief hug. At first she refused to talk to him, but eventually she spoke to him liong enough to suggest he get help to "fix" his condition.
JJ and his squad got pinned down under enemy fire. The found an escape route through an old tunnel. everyone made it into the tunnel except one guy who was shot. JJ went back to save him. The enemy threw a grenade and closed off the entrance to the tunnel. The last scene was of JJ dragging the other soldier and firing his gun at the many many guys surrounding him, who were all shooting at him. Sure looked like he was a goner.
