is there no longer a required min of 100 guests to book the american dance hall??
i was just wondering because i couldve sworn there was but recently i looked all over disneyweddings.com as well as mouseweddings.com and couldnt find it mentioned anywhere! oh well i guess it doesnt matter anyways, i will be having about 40-50 attendants at my wedding and that place would look completely bare although i am in love with it:sad1:
and also...
anyone have any pictures of the american adventure parlor. ive found pictures of the american adventure rotunda but the parlor pics are MIA!!!
thanks!!

it wasnt too long ago that i saw it on BOTH sites and then, i looked just yesterday and there were minimums for other places...such as AAR, but none for AMD! weird!!

I had 53 guests at my ADH reception :thumbsup2 There is no minimum amount of guests there, but your coordinator might try to tell you that it is too big of a space for 50 people, let me tell you that it is not. IMO, it is a perfect venue for this amount of guests. :)

We are having our reception at Atlantic Dance Hall this November. We are expecting between 50 and 60 guests. It sounds like it would be too big a space for that number of people but when you consider the Pre-reception is on their upper level - which looks out over the first floor - then we will probably be putting everyone on the dance floor for the reception in tables of either 8 or 10 plus our Sweetheart table - this fills up the dance floor nicely. There will also be a cake table, the buffet table, a gift table and a table for the guest book. The bar is in the back and we are hoping that during the reception after everyone has eaten people either dance or use the small tables surrounding the dance floor as more intimate locations for talking.

That's exactly how it worked out at my reception, Linda. The buffet takes up a good part of the floor outside the dance floor. We had 6 tables on the dance floor & after dinner....everyone was dancing! Noone really used the 4 tops on the outside, mostly because they were too busy on the dance floor.

Amanda, glad to hear that is how you set up your reception at ADH. I am concerned that having the six tables on the dance floor plus our sweetheart table that there will not be enough room for dancing. Can you please let me know how that worked out? Also, your large tables on the dance floor - did they sit 8 or 10 people. I have been trying to start working on a seating chart and I am not sure how many people sit at one table.

Thanks for all your help,
Linda

I also have some from our site visit, so if you want to see them too just send me a PM. We were originally booked there but moved to LSS because we were having just over 50 people. It would have been a tight squeeze at 50, so we decided to switch.

Our big tables were 10 tops. Even with the sweeetheart and cake tables there is lots of room for dancing.

I had the tables set up for 30 guests. You could fit in another round table (10 guests), but I would not suggests the place for 50 guests. I believe it would get too cramped.

plus the one thing i will not sacrifice for my wedding is a dancefloor and a dj so this place is PERFECT!!!

You're welcome! Let me know if you'd like more pics of anything! If the dj & dancing are important to you, Atlantic Dance Hall is perfect. The DJ booth is already set up with all the necessary equipment & the venue comes with a lighting package :)
