Hi everyone. I am planning our first trip to DLP for June 2015 and I can't book yet on the USA site but I can through the UK site. From what I have read here on the boards booking through another countries site is allowed and often the way to the best deals. I have a couple questions that might seem silly but hopefully someone can help....

1. Am I correct that I can book through another countries site even though I don't live there?

2. Right now there is a deal through the UK site of stay 4 nights pay for 2 but we are only staying for 3 nights. Booking the deal is a lot cheaper than paying for 3 nights, should I book the deal and then just check out after our 3rd night? Would we be penalized or not because we would have paid in advance?

3. If I don't book through the UK site when do deals for the American site or booking usually open up?

4. Not related to booking hotel and tickets....How are reservations made for dining? Is there a website, email, or do I call? If I have to call what is the number and when can they be made?

Thanks for any help to my silly questions. I have been to WDW and Disneyland in CA many times but planning DLP seems so confusing to me. Now I know how newbies to WDW and DL feel! :)

1.]Yes, you can, done it myself, no problem.
2. When are you going? Did you try other sites?
4.You have to call, reservations can be made 60 days in advance.

1 - yes, book online and leave the country as it appears
2 - you won't be penalised. Also look at the irish and French sites as prices and offers vary.
3 - I'm unsure but across the board it seems the US site doesn't ever beat the uk/European offers
4 - you have to ring to book but aside from Bistrot Chez Remy, Walts, Auberge, Cafe Mickey or Inventions the rest you would be ok generally to book upon arrival at your hotel if it's on site or City Hall in DLParc or guest relations in WDS.

Thanks for the replies. One other silly question, when I'm booking through another site should I alert my credit card company first so I don't get blocked for fraud?

yes, check all the sites. I'm American and just booked through the French site because it had the best deal for our time frame. It's tricky to book online (because even though documents are delivered electronically, it wants you to have a French street address), but I found that i could call DLP directly -- they spoke perfect English -- and have them book it for me. I have also heard of people calling the WDW number and having them transfer them to DLP to save an international call.

I would alert the credit card company. And I would also find out if yours charges a transaction fee. Many of them charge a foreign transaction fee of 1% or more, but we use a Bank of America travel rewards card that has a chip (important for use in Europe) and no foreign transaction fee.

I may be a little late on the reply here, but I just attempted to do this a few months ago for a trip we are taking in a little over two weeks. I had some extreme difficulty booking on the UK site. The site wanted me to have a UK address, and I couldn't really contact DLP via phone due to the time change and having to be at work during their normal operating hours.

Ultimately, I wound up using VisitDisneylandParis.com, and got identical prices as the UK site. Customer service was excellent, and they are great at communicating via email. If you are having trouble with the DLP UK site, you may want to check them out...

Good luck!!!

I have booked on the UK site as an American - put in my address but left the country as UK. It went through successfully after I alerted my credit card company - first time it was blocked.

Looks like all your questions have been answered but if you want to make your restaurant reservations in advance you can telephone the Central Restaurant Reservation Service from the USA on 011 33 1 60 30 40 50.

They are open between (Paris time):
Monday to Friday: 09.00 to 8.00 PM
Saturdays: 09:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Thanks for all the help. I will probably book this weekend. So I just use my normal address but keep the country as UK right? Thanks again!
