American Airlines out of JFK?

Hi! I'm heading to WDW The first week of December with my DH and DD (2 yo) and we still don't have our flights booked! Has anyone experienced American Airlines recently? We usually fly Delta or Jet Blue, but American has good times and us cheapest at the moment. I think the last time I used American was 1999 so I'm clueless about service! Are there TVs? Is legroom ok? My husband is 6' 4". Thanks in advance!

I flew them Pittsburgh-Dallas earlier this month. The plane I was on was older, it did not have TV's and legroom was tight. I understand they are renovating their planes to include TV's. No snacks, just drinks. They recently merged with USAirways.
