American Adventure Rotunda

Hi All,

I am new here to the boards and i wanted to see if anyone could help me with a few questions i had about the American Adventure Rotunda..... I thinking about using this space for my reception but i am coming up with little information about what time you can start using the space.. is it after the park closes or a specific time? i know that it is an entrance to the attraction so is there a buy out price if i want it earlier? Any information would be helpful! Also does anyone know how late you can use the space until? Also is it possible to get married at Sea Breeze Point and take a Friendship Boat over instead of hiring a bus. I would love to have the ceremony, have my guests take the boat and then take a limo with my wedding party to Epcot and then have a bus for drop offs at the end of the night...

I have heard the AAR being used most often for morning weddings. I'm not sure about during the day. Also, IIRC Lurkyloo rented out a friendship boat for her wedding to get from Morocco to the Attic, so I think it's possible.

Do know that if you have any element of your wedding in-park (Like AAR) you have to pay for an escort and for all of your guests to be transported to the location. They can't just walk through the normal entrance.

Thanks for the response! Yes i have Carrie's book (its so helpful!i love it) Yea i have only seen a few weddings in there at night (they are beautiful!) so i think that may be why i am struggling to find lots of info... As far as transpo is concerned i was hoping the disney guide would be able to take the boat or meet at the dock in Epcot after it left from the Boardwalk...

Hi!

They hold evening receptions in American Adventure Ronda all the time. If you check out page 73 in your book, it has all the info: the 100-guest minimum, events start after 7pm, etc.

You can use the space pretty much however long you want, but DFTW will make you meet all the same food and beverage minimums all over again if you go over 5 hours.

Friendships boats are only available for hire when World Showcase is closed, unfortunately. I mean, your guests could still all go down and wait for a regular boat en masse, but it wouldn't be a private ride. Generally DFTW likes you to take motorcoaches backstage.
