Here are some of the pictures I have of the American Adventure Rotunda. Just thought Brides might want to see them. I know when I was trying to pick a site I wanted to see more pictures of the AA. It was hard to find them. The only problem is these pictures don't show you the lighting of the room. It wasn't this bright...his flash makes it like that. Sorry images are so big. Randy Chapman took these photos.

If you look in the background you can see where they set up the food stations and kids table. I think I have pictures of one of the food stations..if anyone is interested in see that. We had 4 different stations...Asian, European, Latin, and Mediterranean stations.

Tammy - you had the same menu we are having at our reception in the Living SEas!!! I can't wait for the food. I think I am looking forward to that almost as much as actually getting married. :rotfl: :lmao: You have a beautiful dress. I can't wait to see more pics... keep em coming!! :sunny:

Here is one that shows kind of what the lighting looked like.
There where stars on the dance floor and on the dome too. I have a picture of that somewhere.

It was great. Everyone loved the Around the World food stations. They loved that they had so many options and all I heard was how great everything tasted. You are going to love it! I had some of it but would have loved to try it all. It was so much food. I wish I could sneak in your wedding and try it all again! Yummy! Make sure you try as much as you can to eat a little from each station. I think I missed one!

Thanks for the advice. I will try my best to try at least something from each table... :goodvibes

Your reception was so gorgeous. Did you do the ostrich feather centerpieces yourself or were they through Disney. They set an elegant feel to the whole room.

I wish I did them myself because it may have been cheaper but probably wouldn't have turned out so nice. I just told Disney what I was looking for and they created it. I got to keep a bunch of the ostrich feathers and now have them in a vase similar to the ones from the wedding. It is so nice to see it everyday because it takes me right back to that day. I was so surprised they made it through the travel back to Arizona. I had to put them in my husband's golf bag.

There are some pictures of them on a different thread. I think it is Centerpiece bonanza or something like that.

Tammy- I feel so silly and I hope I am not going overboard everytime I rave about your decorations, but the room looks magnificent! I saw a lot of photos at my planning session, but yours is trully unique! I can't imagine how exciting it is to look back at them!!!!
I am scheduled for a sitdown reception, but you have got me interested in the stations which is what I was torn between!
How did they do the confetti canon- did you have it scheduled for a particular song?
Gorgeous!
Thank you so much for posting! :wave2:

I absolutely love those pics. Too bad I'm not planning on having a larger DFTW. I would definitely consider having a reception there. :thumbsup2

From all the pictures I've seen, I love the way the AA rotunda looks for a reception. It makes me almost wish I could invite more people so I would qualify for it! :rotfl: If you have more pictures, post them, because it looks like you had such a beautiful and unique reception!

I really am in love with your ostrich feather centerpieces. Do you mind if I ask how much they were? You can PM me if you don't want to post it. I am seriously considering having Disney do something similar for me and would like to have an idea of the price before I get my heart set.

Hi Autumnbride2B,
I am so glad you like them. I was really worried when I decided to have Ostrich feathers as my centerpieces. I hadn't seen anyone use them for weddings before and Disney hadn't done anything like it, so I was so nervous to see how they would turn out.

You asked how much they were and I hate to even type it because the amount is pretty high. $325 a piece! They never made one before and I think they had to buy all the Ostrich feathers. It was pretty expensive but I fell in love with the idea...so I had to have them.

Love the feathers more everytime I see them! Soooo dramatic! Your whole wedding seems so magical. Thank you for sharing! :wave2:

Thanks so much. I don't think you should feel bad about the price at all. That is completely reasonable compared to prices for floral centerpieces. I am definitely going to ask about the ostrich feathers when I go for my PS.

Beautiful. It brings back so many happy memories for me.
We used the AA parlor, just upstairs in the American adventure. Perfect for less than 40 people. Very elegant.
