I'll be honest I am not a fan of them. Yes their act is interesting but they are a bunch of untrained college kids. While acts like ArcAttack, Michael Grimm, Antonio Restivo and others have years of experience with their talent.

Agreed except I don't care for ArcAttack. I just don't find Fighting Gravity all that impressive. It's cool for a couple of minutes I guess but everyone knows how its done. It's not like its some amazing trick. Just not a big fan.

Why is no one mentioning Fighting Gravity?? They are the best group that I have seen on the show this year and they will be getting my votes. I think that they have the most talent and the most ingenious show for vegas.. Vegas already has magicians... Too much singing as well.. We already have americas show for singing.

It seemed cool at first until I realized the simplicity of it. Guys syncing tennis balls in the dark with a black light. Sounds like a Day Glo social on steroids. Great party gimmick--not something I'd pay to go see. I thought at first that it was more magical than it was. And when you realize what it is--it ain't all that impressive. At least not to me.

DH and I loved him and wished he had made it through this week. I am amazed by his act. It's so soothing and peaceful.

Well definitely different strokes for different folks. My mother and I thought it was ridiculous how he even made it past the wild card stage.

Fighting Gravity is the best act in the competition. They are fantastic and I could see them turning what they do into something truly wonderful.

Michael Grimm is a dime a dozen, sorry he just is. I don't think he would make Top 10 on AI and if he can't make top 10 on AI, there is no reason why he should win AGT. For a singer to win AGT, they should have no problem winning AI, and that has never happened with the possible exception of the opera singer who won, but AI doesn't cater to that type of music.

Prince P is fantastic.

Bad comparison to Steven Spielberg. He has been making movies and such since he was 8. Fighting Gravity started out last year. Hardly enough time to truly master an art form like Spielberg has.

Besides Spielberg impresses me with what he does...Fighting Gravity not so much.

I'd have to agree with this. The amazing thing about "overnight successes"--using Terry Fater (sp?) for example....

They didn't just create an act and bim bam boom--become a nationally recognized sensation. As cool as Terry's act is--it was something like well over 20 years of work to get to that point. And then one magical show, lots of exposure and then "suddenly" he has a super succesful show in Vegas.

I like AGT for finding unique Talent.

They are getting a little bit--Miss America like for me--for some reason, judges and America are more impressed with singers. (I used to watch that pageant all the time and hated all the singers. Was very excited the year a hula dance won!)

What I don't like AGT for, aside from the oversaturation of singers.....I feel they have a place...just seems like there are so many of them....

I don't like when they pass through the kooky acts. It makes absolutely no sense. I can see why they send them to Vegas--but how on earth do some of those folks get to the voting shows. This season it was the crazy grandma lady--with the huge hairdo. Nice sweet lady--but passing her through makes no sense unless they do that to pull votes for other contestants who they'd rather go through.

What's her name who won the first season had a phenomenal voice. But that was back when they really weren't doing much for the winners except having them win money. Now she is still "what's her name to me--Bianca maybe? I remember what she looked like and how she sounded, but not her name.

Well considering Michael is too old to audition for AI we have no way of testing if he would make it to the top 10 or not.

Personally I love the soulful quality of his voice. It's not something you hear on the radio everyday. And it's a welcome respite from the autotuned pop stars of today.

And M Grimm is a decent singer, but there is just no way you can justify giving him 1,000,000!

I thought she was younger. Perhaps I read something wrong somewhere. But it doesn't matter as they sing as a duo and AI only does solo artists and I doubt she would audition without her sister.

And in all honesty...I do not like Jackie Evancho. She is too young to be pushing her voice like she is. Plus at that age a persons voice is changing. When she hits puberty it will change again. But for better or worse is up in the air.

Do I think Michael Grimm will win? No but I am voting for him anyways. I am thinking it will be Prince Poppycock who will win.

Yes they are a duo act so they can hide each other's weaknesses as a singer.

I just don't see Grimm as being a million dollar talent. Maybe they should reduce the top prize to 250,000 and then I wouldn't get as worked up about it.

Nope. That is weird. It could be something like a ticker or an image in someones sig that is setting it off. Though I would run a system scan to be on the safe side.

I've been to the AI tryouts 5 times. There are thousands of AMAZING singers that don't make it through. It doesn't mean they aren't just as good as the people who make it all the way to the top 10 of the season. They just didn't happen to be what they were looking for during the 15 seconds that they auditioned. Not making it onto AI doesn't mean you aren't worthy of winning any other competition. He's not my favorite but that kind of reasoning just doesn't make any sense.

Aww…. I'm gonna have to stand up for my girls. I'm not saying that they are the best singers but their story is so inspirational! My nephew has CF. It's a brutal disease, It's really amazing that they can sing at all. I know it's a talent competition but I'm gonna keep routing for them. If anything they are raising awareness for the disease!
