Amber ALERT works!!!!

Woke up this morning to lots of newsbreaks about a carjacking in Charlotte, NC (about 20 mins from us) that happened around 8am today. The lady was putting her 2 MONTH OLD infant into her car when a man knocked her down and took off in her car. The lady had not even had chance to restrain the seatbelt for the baby. They put out notices on flashing billboards on the interstate systems and also new briefs every 10-15 mins. Police helicopters and also news helicopters were searching for the car. Just had breaking news that they have the car and the baby has been recovered!!!!! I believe this is the 1st Amber Alert in this area. Glad to see it worked so quickly!!!
