Amazon or Garden Grocer?

I need a few things for my Christmas trip. One of them is organic rice milk. My son has acid reflux. He was throwing up almost daily until we discovered rice milk. So I really need to make sure I have it for our trip.

I am looking at either mailing stuff from Amazon to our resort or using Garden Grocer. If I have it shipped from Amazon, I get more for my money and a wider variety of products. But I have to pay a fee since Beach Club has a conference center. And I am worried about not receiving my packages from either getting lost in the mail or at the resort.

As for Garden Grocer, it's annoying having to be there for the delivery time.

So what do you recommend? Which have you used? Thank you.

I have never been there when Garden Grocer has arrived, I get a text, call Bell services and they bring it up. Even got alcohol last month and did not have to have the order delivered when I was in the room.

If you want other grocery itmes as well as the rice milk I would recommend using Garden Grocer. We ordered breakfast foods, juice, applesauce, crackers for the kids along with other items and the alcohol.

I'd go off the board and go with Whole Foods. Their delivery has gotten better than the first time we used them. I don't know if you need a lot of organic items, but if you do I'd go with them.

Be sure to add the tip when you order and there should be no problem with garden grocer leaving your stuff with bell services. We do it every time!

Try Garden Grocer or WeGoShop. Both deliver to Bell Services so you don't have to be there. GardenGrocer has somewhat of a limited menu when it comes to organic/allergy free stuff, so if you can't find the milk you are looking for try WeGoShop. Both are fabulous and worth the delivery fee!

My ds has a milk allergy and drinks almond milk. Garden Grocer did not carry his brand. I ordered it from Amazon for our trip last year. This past trip, I just took the single serve containers and distributed them throughout our luggage (in baggies) so I didn't have to order from anyone. We stayed at BLT which is also a conference resort and I didn't want to pay any fees. For us, taking the milk worked out perfectly.

Same. I get the Almond Breeze shelf stable kind and put it safely under clothes in my suitcase, then when we get to Dis I pop it in the fridge so it's nice and cold for when she needs it. A side note, Dis does offer almond and rice milk at their Food Court if you request it. I didn't know this, but since we go every year and always stay at ASMo, so we know the CM's and Managers pretty well; when I had ran out of my DD's almond milk, and all they sold was Silk Soy milk, I had made a comment in passing about needing to go buy more. Well, one of the CM's we know just went in the back and got us some and have it to us, free of charge!!!!! Gotta love Dis :-D

The upside to either Garden Grocer or wegoshop is that they're local, so they can fix any errors. While I'm a huge amazon fan, I don't think I would trust something this important to them.

And I've never been there for our Garden Grocer delivery. Bell services holds the order, refrigerated if necessary, until we get there. I'm pretty sure WeGoShop is the same... but they'll shop where you want them to. So if you know a local store that carries the stuff you need, direct them there.

I've been ordering from Amazon almost daily for the last 7-8 years and I think they've made a mistake on my order once. Anyway, here is what I did to avoid any errors...I ordered the milk to be delivered about a week before we were to arrive. Once I saw it had been delivered, I called the resort to verify it was there. We had no problems. I think Garden Grocer or wegoshop are great options if you need to order a lot of groceries.
