So, I take this to mean that if you purchase a Kindle Accessories GC, it can be used for anything on Amazon but the promotional code that you get can only be used on Kindle accessories sold by Amazon? I can easily spend $100 on Amazon but not necessarily on Kindle Accessories. Can anyone who has purchased one of the GCs tell me if they are just regular Amazon GCs with no restrictions as to the merchandise you can purchase with it?

My Kindle Fire that I bought from Staples came with a $25 Amazon Kindle gift card and I was given another one as a gift. I did not buy the GC's from Amazon. I used them both for non Kindle purchases; the fine print on the cardboard card says its for any Amazon purchase.

Thanks for posting this, I am going to look into it.
