Hi,
I recently cashed in a significant amount of credit card points for Amazon Gift cards. I'd like to find a path to convert those cards to either cash, or Disney Gift Cards. Any ideas? I don't just want to see the Amazon GC on gift card websites because the return is pretty low. Thanks for any help!

Try selling on eBay.

Yeah, I've actually seen them go for slightly above face value on Ebay- normally international buyers so you need to factor in the postage but still!

There are many, many scammers involved in gift card eBay auctions. I would never sell to an international bidder.

Ebay is full of scams... especially if the buyers are international. They claim you never shipped the GC and get a full refund from PayPal, while charging you.

the alternative to trading the cards is to buy stuff you would normally buy - food, etc and then put the money you would normally spend on those items towards your trip. Kristen at Couponingtodisney.com explains it better than I

Didn't know that! Long time since I've sold on ebay... that bites!

That's a good point, I'm sure amazon carries just about anything you may need!

I don't do the international thing...but I have bought many many gift cards and sold some too on eBay and haven't ever had a problem. I'm sure some are out there but I always look for reputable sellers.

I've done this with several types of giftcards. Amazon carries most drugstore-type items at good prices. They also carry some grocery items decently priced. Buy from them using the giftcard, then "pay yourself" back in cash toward your trip.

Look into Amazon Payments. It's a free service.
How would this work using GCs? I looked at it but I'm getting the impression that it's just like PayPal - you fund it with either a CC or your bank account to make payments or you receive payments from customers/friends in the same way.
