So I redeemed my Amazon gift cards onto my account thinking I would be able to buy Disney and/or Target GC. And..boy was I wrong. So... How do I get Disney GC with my Amazon credit? I'm sure this has been asked before, but the search function isn't helping me today! Thanks!

Can you purchase a Visa or MasterCard prepaid card with your Amazon gift cards?

I purchase things I'd normally get at the store... shampoo, soap, etc. Or gifts for birthday, holidays, etc.

Then I take the cash I would have used at the store and put it in my vacation fund (or in this case buy a Disney GC).

I could be totally wrong, but I feel like I remember someone in the last few days saying they (or someone they knew) used amazon gift cards to but a GameStop eGift Card... Then you could use that to get ebay, to target, to disney. Again, I'm not 100% sure, but you might want to check.

That's what I've heard too. It's a fairly recent occurrence that Amazon lets you buy a gift card with a gift card. Since they don't seem to carry either Target or Disney gift cards you'll need to be creative. GameStop is a good option provided your local GameStop carries eBay or Disney gift cards. And, provided they allow you to purchase a gift card with a gift card. Many have had good luck with this, but I'd test it out before I invested a lot of money in GameStop gift cards. I like the idea of buying things you need on Amazon and then using the money you would have spent to buy the gift cards you want. That seems like the safest method.

I just used my amazon gift cards a few days ago to buy a $50 Applebee's gift card they were running a deal on for $40 so it's now possible to use amazon gift cards to buy other gift cards.

Recent Datapoints show Amazon allowing the use of their gc to buy other gc. It was only recently discovered by accident...

I put my Amazon giftcards into my Amazon Account and when I have $50 I buy a Kmart giftcard with free shipping on Amazon. Then I go to my local Kmart store and buy 2 $25 Disney Gift Cards with the Kmart Giftcard. It is not that much extra for me since I shop at Kmart's Pharmacy monthly anyway.

I wish my Kmart would let me buy a gift card with gift card. I know many people have been able to do this, but I've had no luck at either Kmart or Sears in the Portland area. The cashiers wouldn't even try it and admitted the register would allow it, but store policy prohibits.

Thanks everyone for the ideas!! I'll have to pop in to my local Kmart and Game Stop to see what they say. That would be great!!

Also, if I get the eBay GC and buy Disney GC, could I also use Ebates?
