Has anyone ever notice their prices increasing on the weekends?

I have been eyeing a camera for a while. Yesterday and the days before it was $499, today it is $519. I am curious to see what happens on Monday and if it goes down!!

A good friend who used to work in marketing says that, whenever she plans to shop for something on Amazon.com, she first logs in as a guest and doesn't use her regular account. Then, after she has checked prices, she signs into the site through her regular account and compares the prices. She swears that the prices are sometimes higher and even sometimes lower but that they do vary depending on how she signs in.
