amazon.com used cd

Recently on accident I threw out all my cds that were in my car and need to rebuy them. I went to amazon.com and see that you can buy used cd's. I have always bought new cds but am thinking of the used. Has anyone bought used cd's through amazon. I am worried that the cd's will skip.

I buy used CDs through Amazon all the time and have never had a problem. 2 things to look for though:

1. Buy ones that the seller has listed as "Very Good" or better.
2. Check the sellers approval rating. You can usually find ones in the 90%-100% range.

I listen to mostly country. The ones I threw out were Martina McBride, Terri Clark, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Emerson Drive. I also threw out Bob Seger, Tom Petty, John Cougar Mellencamp and Aerosmith. I still can't beleive how stupid I am.

I can actually probably help you with Terri Clark(I have 2), Bob Seger, Tom Petty, John Cougar Mellencamp (definitely- I have all of those already loaded on the ipod), and Aerosmith(have almost all here also).

May I suggest looking on secondspin.com? They buy and sell used CDs. I've sold more to them than purchased, but they are very strict about what they will accept for resale. Items pretty much have to be in mint condition, so it's unlikely that you'd get anything that skips.
