Amazon.com Harry Potter price reduction

I haven't seen this mentioned here so apologies if it's already been discussed.

For those who have already pre-ordered HP from Amazon...They've reduced the price from 18.99 to 17.99. If you pre-ordered the new price should be reflected on your order page since they guarantee you'll get the lowest price that they sell it for, regardless of what price you ordered at. It's only $1, but in my view every $1 counts.

Thanks for the info. I pre-ordered it the first day it wsa available. I love that Amazon gives you the lower price no matter what the price was when you ordered it. I also love that they garuntee that it will be delivered on the day that the book is released. It beats having to be at the book store at midnight or reserving on and trying to pick it up at the store.

My kids LOVE the midnight party at our local bookstore! It makes the book release that much more special for them.

Our dd18 will be in Japan when the last book releases. I wonder if Amazon can ship to Japan?
