Amazon Book Sellers?

I purchased a book last week on Amazon and it stated the shipping method would be "Standard Shipping" Their site states standard shipping takes 3-7 business days. Now I'm wondering if the seller shipped it Media Mail even though I paid for standard shipping. Can any Amazon.com book sellers let me know what shipping method you use? Thanks!

My husband and I have sold many books through Amazon.com in the last year. I believe that media rate is what is recommended as the means for sellers to ship the books. It is understandable when the rate for the last book I shipped would have been over $8 if I had shipped it any other way (the book sold for $9).

I should mention that we haven't had any complaints about late books. They do arrive in 3-7 days.

The choices for books are either media mail (standard) or expedited (priority). I've tracked packages I send media mail and they almost always arrive within a week.

If there is more than one seller for an item you want, next time you may want to look for someone close to you.

I just ordered 2 books through Amazon and they were mailed UPS. It took about a week to get them. You should be able to track your shipments through Amazon's website.

This book is a bit rare and only had one seller and is only 2 states away so I guess I'll just have to be patient. I think I like buying off of Half.com better since they say upfront its media mail and they charge much less for shipping than Amazon did.

Some sellers use delivery confirmation & email you a # that can be tracked on the USPS site. I've used it a few times myself! TI doesn't seem as detailed as the UPS info, but I'm not really sure.
