I signed up for the $72 Amazon deal. It says we can add 4 household members. If we add them, are the logins and payment options different? We've always shared, but that gets messy at Christmas because I see what DH gets me. Also wondering if I could add my mom who lives elsewhere?

Household members are those with the same address. I have DH and DS on my prime account, and they have separate Amazon accounts. To add members, go to "My Prime," "Manage Prime Account" and scroll down to "Invite A Household Member." You send invitations to the person's Amazon email address.

Your mother, with a different address from you, would not qualify as a household member. I've been known to order for my parents using a credit card they give me, but through my Amazon account.

DH and I have had Prime for about 3 years and love it. We each have credit cards attached to our Amazon account and I am an addition to his Prime account. Your Prime account is separate from your Amazon account and you can have different payment options. As a Prime member, you get free shipping, but the charges can be made to whatever card you have on your Amazon account.
