Amazing time in my life!!!

What a fabulous surprise you have organised.

I'm sure you will have a fantastic time and when you get back you will be planning your next visit.

Have a truly wonderful time with your family and tell us all about it on your return

WOW.......thats amazing, i wish i could keep secrets like that. I first took my daughter when she was 6 and its the perfect age, she was old enough for most of the rides and has some fantastic memories but young enough for it all to be magical - a real life fairytale, i had tears in my eyes as she watched tinkerbell fly through the sky at the start of the fireworks, her eyes and mouth wide open in amazement, i'll remember that picture forever.
You're kids are going to go crazy when you tell them, i know you will all have a wonderful time.

What a lovely thing to do and a gr888888888 surprise. You wilLabsolutley love it and will return home feeling very depressed, but then you will be able to plan for the next trip which is a great experience and chatting to everyone on here keeps the spirits up. You do get the odd one who has to burst the bubble on a subject but if you go with the attitiude you are going to enjoy no matter what you cannot fail.
Have a fab time looking forward to your trip report-wish I only had 2 days to go:sad1:
:grouphug:

Well done you guys, how about other family members (grandparents etc), it must have been hard on them to keep it a secret too.
I wish we'd have kept it from our 4 year old. Although she has gone quiet about it the last week or so, so we haven't mentioned it, she just walks around the suitcases that are all over the floor. Our DD19mo doesn't know what's happening, but if her excitment just visiting the Disney Store is anything to go by she's going to love it.
We're there when you are......
With three days to go, this is me at the mo :laundy:

your post just made me grin :goodvibes your kids will be so excited! what a fab way of telling them!

I'm leaving in 6 days, just behind you! ;)

Have a great trip! :thumbsup2

Amazing! I wish I had the patience to do the same with my 9yo son but I wanted him to be involved in all the planning and stuff, so I only lasted 4 days before I let the cat out the bag lol.

On the other hand, my dad and brother (who is handicapped) are coming with us, and we are keeping it a secret from my brother. We are travelling to Manchester the day before since we are flying from there, and staying at an Uncle's. We have told my brother that he is having a 2 week holiday in Manchester, except for 5 days in Blackpool (which is where we are telling him he is going when we are en route to the airport).

Not quite the same, but im looking forward to seeing his reaction :)

Have a wonderful time, and make sure to let us all know how it went! :thumbsup2

We did the same last year with our 2 DD's then aged 7 & 5 princess: princess: , we'd arranged the whole thing without them knowing :) , had the taxi booked, luggage at grandparents as taxi was picking them up 1st and yes they we're coming with us ;) , we had told our DD's that we'd somehow all got the same day off so we we're going to plan to go out for the day , so their choice, they wanted to go to Rhyl Sun Centre for the day so i carefully packed their hand luggage to include their swimming goggles so no suspicion's there then :lmao: , the taxi driver was in on the secret so chatted to them both about going swimming :rolleyes1 , only as we pulled into Manchester airport my eldest DD said what are we doing here!!.... Are we going on holiday :) , it was a lovely moment when they eventually guessed where we were going, and of course then they realised their grandparents were coming :grouphug: . Even now I wonder how we ever managed to pull it off  , but I'm so glad we did I will treasure those magical faces forever :flower3: . But this year they know we're going :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Have a fab time

Hi DisneyVirgin2007,
What an absolutely wonderful idea! Your kids will be soooooo excited, and that is what Disney is all about! I remember when we took ours when they were younger - Our DD loved meeting Mickey, and the look on DS's face when we had breakfast with Winnie... was priceless!
Those are the sort of memories that we hold for life... good on you - and try and video as much as possible! Maybe you could put it in a trip report on your return... would love to see it!!
The trouble is... when you've been once.... you won't want to go anywhere else!!
Have a super time.
Tracy

Fantastic. Its getting hot here so you won't need any coats. Our four year old met all the princesses and Minnie and Mickey. Its so magical. But remember its nearly 90 degrees at the moment. Hit parks in morning, come home then go out later. Have a fab time:banana: Also very warm in the evening too
