We got back from Disney on Friday and I am just now getting time to post this. First let me say, we had an amazing trip. To all cast members....Thank You.
On Saturday Jan 24th, we brought our daughter to BBB at MK for an 8:40 appointment. After the appt we had sometime to kill before we attended breakfast at CRT. So we decided to ride a few rides in Fantsyland. Well during this, my digital camera just decided to stop working. After purchasing several $$ of batteries and that not helping either. We had no choice put to purchase a disposable camera for our breakfast ressie and I was so depressed that I had to use a disposable camera. This was heartbreaking. It was our first time at CRT and I wanted to capture every moment. The breakfast was fantasic, and the disposable camera served the purpose. Now that breakfast was over and we had sometime. We decided to go looking for digital camera's for purchase at MK. Our journey took up to the Emporium at the entrance of the MK. From this moment, luck was starting to turn our way. They did have digital camera's for sale and surprisingly they we not overly priced. We purchased the last one in the case. Thank goodness!! Thank you Disney for having digital camera's on property for your guest to purchase. THEY THINK OF EVERYTHING. Upon purchasing the camera we walked outside on the porch and sat down to read the manual of the camera and get familiar with it. At that time a gentleman walked up to us and asked how our vacation was going and wanted to talk to us about it if we had time. My daughter and I talked a good while with him while my husband tended to the camera and towards the end of the conversation he asked about the camera we just purchased, so we explained how our other one just broke and we purchased one there to get us through the trip. He could see how I was discouraged about the timing of my camera breaking on me right before CRT. So he said he would like to make it up to us and wanted us to follow him in the Emporium because someone wanted to meet us. We followed him and behind the curtain was Cinderella. We were so surprised. I could have actually cried. I think I was more excited than by 5 year old daughter. She told us not be rushed, we had her undivided attention and wanted to sit and talk. Her and my daughter chated for about 15 mins, they we did a photo shoot with her that lasted about another 15 mins. After this special meeting was over I sat my daughter down and explained to her that I have been to Disney at least 8 times and have never meet Cinderella like that before and that many little girls only dream of something like that.
We were surely at the right place at the right time, and now I tell my husband I am sort of glad my camera broke....
