Amazing Race 3

i knew team 911 would be eliminated eventually. they weren't thinking for themselves. they just followed other teams. you would think at least one of them would have stayed awake on the train so they didn't miss their stop. it was their own fault they were eliminated. 911 was so far behind they didn't even have to complete the tasks on that leg.

i thought it was so funny when ken and gerard got a flat tire and kept driving on it. the guys at the gas station had priceless expressions on their faces when they saw how beat up the tire was. i bet if it was their own car they wouldn't have done that.

my favorite teams are still ken and gerard and drew and derek. i hope ian and teri are eliminated next. (well at least ian). they are getting on my nerves. i was surprised ian didn't start biting teri's head off when she told the twins where their clue was.

I was thinking the very same thing about Teri and Ian. When she told him about the clue and Ian said "What did you say" I was like,,,,,OHHH NOOO she is going to get it now....what a way to live your life, all nervous that your other half will yell at you for everything....that is how Flo is to Zach, she yells at him for everything.

I agree that Team 911 really had it coming last night--they just seemed so clueless, unable to figure things out for themselves. Another vote for getting rid of Ian (maybe make him do the next rock climbing/rappelling stunt?). I would DIE if I was on national TV and the world saw my DH berating me like that! (Not that he would, he's a perfect gentleman, but can you just IMAGINE seeing yourself, constantly belittling your spouse in front of the world??). Flo is defintely annoying, too, and her comments in French were totally unnecessary--the point of the game is to win fairly, not win by deliberately hurting another team! So, I'd love for them to go also.

It would be tough NOT to love Ken and Gerard--they're a lot of fun, kind of reminds me of a typical nutty family with their comments and faces and stuff. Kind of like your big brothers or goofy college roomate or something. You just can't help but smile when you watch them. Maybe they can hav etheir own show after this is over? I know the twins form last season have a local show up here these days.

I think IAN and TERRI thrive on one another, that is WHY they have been married so long. He is very INTENSE and I would have knocked him over a cliff by now......

When did the wonder twins use a fast forward?

I remember the brothers, Flo and Zach, Terri and Ian, used them, but I don't remember the wonder twins using one.

The twins used theirs early in the game when they got in trouble. One of the first three episodes if I remember correctly.

LOL Faith! I Couldn't agree more about knocking Ian over a cliff!! :p:p

Team double mint did use thier fast forward really early...good thing when they did..but hating it now. AMEN Poohbear123

Wow, I'm kind of surprised that no one has posted here yet, but with the Thanksgiving holiday and all, I guess I shouldn't be TOO surprised. Anyway, FINALLY a non-elimination round! I'm sure John Vito and Jill breathed a hugh sigh of relief on that one, and not just because the air was thin in the mountains!

Next week a two hour show!!:bounce: :bounce: Don't forget to adjust your VCR's if you're going to tape it!

John Vito and Jill are my new fave team! I was so glad this was a non eleimation round too! One thing that was mentioned is that this was the first of THREE non elimation rounds..... with only 5 teams left..... interesting.....

Lots of second chances coming up!

Cant wait for next weeks show.... gotta make sure I am done packing so I can just sit and watch!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I am glad it was a non-elimination round as well! I like John Vito and Jill, but I adore Team O'Brother!

Team Zoolander (the twins) are starting to grate on my nerves. Flo totally annoys me (but I kinda like Zach). I felt bad for Zach as Flo was flirting with all the guys. What exactly do you think their relationship is? Zach had me cracking up at the end when he said about Flo whining and complaining about how she was tired and couldn't breathe, and Zach had to carry her pack as well - and then she tells him to hurry to get to the finish line!

I was really yelling (literally!) at Team O' Brother to hustle up and get to the Pit Stop Line! (And then I figured that maybe this was a non-elimination round since the little blurbs keep making you think that both John Vito and Jill and the Brothers would be getting the axe.)

Ian is a retired cop? Never knew that! If I were Terry, I'd be booting that dude out the door once I returned home!

I was so pleaed with J&JV last night ..the way they handle things...they may be my new favs also...Team O brother runs a close second....actually any body but Teri and Ian. When JV was having difficulty with the apple...Jill was so encouraging..she won me then.:D

Great show last night!! I especially love the nail-biter endings, thank god it was a non-elimination round. From the beginning, I loved Jill and John Vito. Jill just kicks it and they're so good to one another. Yesterday, a friend of mine who didn't like them early on and wouldn't listen when I tried to convince him otherwise, called to apologize ... of course, they're now his new faves too!

I hope it comes down to them and Oh Brother!

The bad thing (if this can even be called a bad thing), is that I will be landing in Orlando at 8:10 next Wednesday night and I'm desperate to see that episode. I'll have to get my above-mentioned friend to tape it for as penance I guess!!! ;)

I thought it was a really intense episode because they were all together all the time. I am so glad it was a non elimination because the last two teams are my favorites. Remember that they only eliminate to three teams for the end. I hate that it is now a week until another one. So exciting!

What a GREAT episode! I actually like the twins--it looks like they are going to fight a lot in the next episode according to the preview though. I am interested in seeing where all of Flo's flirting leads too. I'll be in WDW for next week's episode (Yahoo!!!!!), but I think I'll be back in my room in time to see it. :)

I was in WDW in Oct. and oh Yes Wed night was our early night in...worked out perfect.:D

I was screaming, "please, please, please, let it be a non-elimination round. I couldn't bear to see either Ken or Gerard or John Vito and Jill get eliminated. Those two teams totally support each other in words and actions.

I too am in danger of missing next week's episode (a two hour episode). I will be on my way to New York City to do my Christmas shopping, catch the Lion King and Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7, I plan on being outside the Today Show window. Watch for me, I will be the one with a special message for Janice Huff on one side of my sign and on the other side of my sign a picture of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. If I get a chance, I will say Hi!

Just bumping this up for tonight's show. If you're setting your VCR's, don't forget that it's a two hour program tonight!!! Check out these spoilers ahead!

This week on THE AMAZING RACE:
-- Emotions run high when unsuspecting Teams have to make a phone call and
discover their loved ones on the other end of the line.
-- An argument over working with others brings one Team to the breaking
point amid accusations and threats.
-- One Team member taunts another terrified Team when they learn they will
face a 620-foot bungee jump, the longest in Europe.

Sounds like this could be a good one!
:bounce:

But do I tape this and watch "Taken" or Watch this and tape "Taken?"
