Now that Flo is rich maybe she can afford the medication she needs like some Librium. After observing her for weeks, I am willing to forgive her for her behavior cause I don't think it's her fault. I believe she is manic depressive and bipolar. She can't help it.

I nominate Zach for sainthood. It is my understanding to become a saint you must lead a good life (he's done that) and you must perform one miracle. Getting Flo through this race was a miracle!

Ian could benefit from a little medication too. One minute he's telling her don't outrun me (at the first pit stop), for fear she's making him look bad?!?! Than she's the love of his life. Then his superior attitude at the travel agency. Then he tells her again when she telling him where the trunk release is, "you don't have to be obnoxious". Then she's the life of his life again!

What a great race to the very finish!

I think the camera man that had to be with Flo and Zach deserves some hazzard pay. He may be in therapy for years! STOP THE WHINING, STOP THE WHINING!

One thing is crystal clear to me... they HAVE to do away with the non-elimination rounds. Flo and Zach lost twice, then they win the million bucks. There is just no justice.

Were they on the Morning Show today? Did anyone see what she had to say?

Yes, I saw Flo & Zach, Ian & Terry, and Oh Brother on this morning. I wasn't expecting to see the other two teams but I was happy they were on. I think Flo was horribly embarrassed, which she should be, but after watching the interview I almost felt sorry for her. I think she was on the verge of admitting she needed professional help. (Anyone get that impression?) There was some good questions asked but I wish there would have been more time to get a few more questions answered. Maybe with all that money Flo can get some desperately needed help. Like she said she's only 23 and she still has time to change. Good for her to at least see that and admit it!!

No, I don't believe so. The only word I heard to describe themselves was friends. I hope this experience with "women" hasn't ruined him for life. Zach really deserves the best...now let's just hope the money-hungry babes stay away. That's the last thing Zach needs after this whole fiasco! I sorta' feel sorry for Flo after watching her this morning. I'm sure she can be a really nice person. I wish them both the best of luck!

Now....how long until the next one?!

As long as the brothers didn't win, I guess I am happy. The other two teams were not very likeable, but I felt they were a bit less conniving.

I laughed so hard last night when the fat brother (i forget his name) told Flo it was to early in the morning for her to whine. DW said she swore if Flo and Zack won she would never watch the show again.

I really enjoyed this season and can't wait for next season. I would love to talk DW and her sister to try out for the show. I am telling you it would be a hoot!

i didn't really want flo to win but i think zach deserved it. what happened with her promise not to whine anymore.

i liked how ken and gerard said they may not have won $1 million, but the experience was worth more than that. why doesn't my favorite team ever win? maybe next game.

i glad teri and ian didn't win. he treats her so badly and she just takes it. i hope their relationship isn't always like that.

Even though Flo and Zach were my least favorite of the final 3 teams (do to Flo's incessant whining and temper tantrum throwing), I was still really happy for them when they won. I also was really impressed with how Ian realized that he had not been treating Teri properly and started being MUCH nicer to her. The stuff he said at the next to last pit stop about her was so sweet! I bet he treats her much better at home than in the high-pressure race environment--and I sure hope so for Teri's sake! I was surprised that the brothers didn't win, but I think they had a super time racing anyway.

I'm so happy for ZACH! Honestly I think Flo should just hand over her share of the million to Zach since he did all the work.
All she did was whine and berate everything he did. I felt so bad for Zach when she threatened to quit, it's not only her decision!
I wonder if she watched the shows and thought why I'm a whiny witch!
I don't think ZAch will pursue any kind of relationship more than friends. I think he said something like that at the end of the show.

I was for anybody BUT Flo. I too said I would not watch again if they won! Zach deserved it though for having to put up with her! Ian became more likeable when he got to Vietnam, I do think they made a good team. I was pulling for the brothers though. Oh well.

This was certainly one of the most competitive race finishes. It basically boiled down to who got the first cab at the fountain won the race.

Everyone in my family was yelling when Zach and Flo won. Zach is great but Flo was so annoying. I was sort of hoping that the Oh Brother team would pull it off.

I agree with you RUDisney that they should do away with the non-elimination rounds. I was thinking the same thing last night, that Flo and Zach had gotten a free pass once before. They should either do away with them or say that a team can only get one free pass. It's a little ridiculous that the team that wins the million, should have been eliminated twice.

I just watched it a little while ago, taped it from last night and couldn't believe it. Wanted the brothers to win thought it was going to be Teri and Ian could not believe Fl9o and Zach came from behind and won... Now I wish he wouldn't of talked heout of quiting when she wanted to and isn't it funny how at the end she seemed to be taking all the credit for the win...

I was disappointed that Flo won 1/2 million but Zach deserves it and he also deserves the "MOST PATIENT MAN ALIVE" award.

I would have pushed Flo in river with all that whining.

I agree with the no "non-elimination" rounds. Or they should be early on in the race when it doesn't matter as much.

Maybe we should all send e-mails.

I'm going into Amazing Race withdrawls already!! If I knew how to do a poll, I would start a new thread. (Anyone who wants to, be my guest.) I was wondering which AR was your favorite and why. I think each AR gets better and better so I would have to say this one was my favorite. It was close plus it was a very unexpected win. There seemed to be a good variety of teams too. Does anyone know when the next one will start?! Anyone, please!!

Don't know when the next one will start, but I did read that the finalist interviews were held last month. I would guess they have all the teams picked by now and I would assume they will wait until after the holidays to start filming. Figure a month to run the race and about two or three more to do post production work.....my guess would be just in time for the May sweeps period

I saw the final three pairs on the CBS Early Show yesterday morning. That's when they gave the winners their check.

Naturally, they asked Flo what she thought about herself now that she saw the show. She was absolutely mortified and kept apologizing. She also promised that she would change.

The funny part was when the interviewer asked the other pairs if they thought that Flo could change, and the 4 of them smiled and shook their heads "no."

I would have loved to have seen the brothers win, but, much as Flo was awful, Zach couldn't have been sweeter. I'm happy for him, and maybe, just maybe, Flo realizes that she was very, very lucky to have him by her side.
