About 10-15 minutes into the episode I said, "I bet this will be a non-elimination leg." And then Phil told them they were the last team to check in without immediately saying they had been eliminated. And I knew it! I'm so proud of myself!

I've got to figure out a way to see this. I do really like TAR.

BUT. My DVR will only tape two shows, and can't watch another channel while it is doing so. Game of Thrones and Once Upon a Time are winning.

I was glad to see Chuck and Wynona go home last week, not so much Wynona but Chuck was just so mean to her. Really dropped my opinion of him the way he acted.

Was hoping Max and Katie would not come in first last night, darn it. Can't stand them and sure don't want them to win. I hated seeing them win cars. I'm rooting for the hockey boys or the country singers to win.

Glad it started on time last night too. It gets old with the delays from sporting events.

Well, I don't know what Chuck and Wynona were thinking when they entered TAR. She's pretty out of shape and doesn't seem to be too much of an outdoorsy type of gal. I'm really not judging because I'm the same way but, knowing this about myself, there's just NO WAY I'd even think of attempting TAR. And the way she kept pushing the tasks onto Chuck in the beginning until they got to a point where she HAD to start doing some of them... well, I'm just surprised Chuck held it together as long as he did. His frustration finally got the better of him.


Does anyone else think that maybe the one hockey player's missing bag was a set up by another team? It just seems like Bates and Anthony are known to be such a strong team so maybe someone thought they could get rid of them by way of "lost/stolen passport" as has happened so many times on TAR? I'm just so glad he had the presence of mind to make sure to keep his passport on his person instead of in his bag! Go Team Hockey!!

I was surprised that last night was a non-elimination round. I thought they usually had one with the final-4, not the final-5.

I also have to say "Duh!" to Beth and/or Mona who said something like "We led them here and they are going to beat us!" at the Pit Stop while Bates and Anthony sprinted past them. At least Caroline and Jennifer wised up enough NOT to switch tasks with them!

I thought last night's race was pretty hard core. Don't know if I could have done that base jump thing and then the weird psychedelic maze thing would have freaked me out. It was pretty fast paced too...not much time to see the teams struggle (maybe they didn't...but I can't believe they all knew the Ronald Reagan questions right off the bat like that and they all base jumped w/out hesitation like that). These teams that remain are pretty tough. I wish the roller moms would have been eliminated. I like the hockey guys and they are typically difficult to beat (not sure what happened last night, I think they may be getting too caught up with their race lady friends ).

I was really surprised with all of the camera guys there that they didn't catch anything on tape. It just felt really set up to me. I was thinking about looking back to see if he actually got on the train with it. Easy way to loose some unneeded weight, ditch the bag and claim that it was stolen. There are only a couple of more episodes left.

In NY, Game of Thrones is on at 9:00, so my on my problem is if AR runs late.

There would be no way I could ever do that Labyrinth. My brother and I keep saying we'd make a pretty good team for TAR, he'd have to do that one, I would totally freak out.

Oh man, when Katie was doing the Labyrinth, she let out with something about the Legend of the Hidden Temple. It kind of made me love her...for a moment. But she's still not my favorite. I really like the Roller Derby Moms, the Hockey boys, and the Country singers.

I don't mind Katie, it's Max I can't stand. Sometimes he says funny things like "Big hair, big brain" and other times he's just nasty. I have not figured out if it's an act or if he's really that big of a jerk.

Ditto!! Sometimes Katie sneers, and i don't care for that, but she doesn't do it that often

Max said on episode 1 that they knew likability was going to be a problem for them. I like them for that self-awareness.

I really hope the youtubers are out next. Anyone but them winning would be a great ending.

Has anybody noticed that Katie's expressions are always blank? Hockey player comes up and tells her his bag is gone.....blank look. Max is talking on the interviews....barely interested. I don't get it. We've started looking for expressions from her.

The YouTubers make me laugh. They're young and enjoying it. My son hasn't liked them at all.

Besides Max and Katie, I'm sorta good with any of them.

Ya know, I thought I'd NEVER say it.... the YouTubers are actually growing on me. He's still amazingly strange but I do believe that he's not acting. At first I thought he was just trying to get attention and boost his YouTube audience by acting just so very weird but now...meh... I think that's just who he is. Props to him for the labyrinth!


I still can't stand Max and Katie - they can go anytime now. I'm pulling for the hockey guys to win but I think their preocupation with that girls team is gonna bite them in the butt!

I *like* the Youtubers Joey and Meghan. They are young and funny and always positive (that I can remember, at least ). I think they are my new favorite team. I like Bates and Anthony too, but they seem to be coattail riders when they are not out in the lead.

I like the YouTubers when they're not playing it up. When they're just themselves, I really like them. But it's like they realize, Joey especially, all of a sudden that there's a camera there and they start putting on an act. I don't care for that.
