Amazing Race 11 - All Stars (begins 2/18/07)

I couldn't believe C&M. That crazy team! She actually shoved her pack at the taxi driver and said "Take all my money. I won't eat tomorrow." They are melting down fast.

I am sure the second time around has so much more pressure. You are more aware of how badly you can screw it up.

I was glad to see Amber stand up for herself in the airport. She always seemed like a non personality. Just up for whatever thought Rob put in her head.

I didn't notice their packs were smaller. What would I do without the DISboards Amazing Race 11 - All Stars Official Thread?

I don't think that they are melting down. They are just being the same old drama queen, annoying selves. The sooner they go the better.

Off topic, but declansdad-I just have to say I love your user name because my son's name is Declan!!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was really rude of Drew to walk off the mat before Phil could even finish telling them they were eliminated.
I thought it was pretty rude too. I liked Drew so much better in season one, but he really didn't have it in him this time. Right now my favorites are Oswald and Danny.

The important part is we saw it. I have to say I'm really starting to sour on this show after seeing that. Really blatent example of them "fixing" things. It was right there... naked bolts (as my wife called them).

And I thought it was bad when they got on flights at the last miunte. :rolleyes1

Exactly. It was right there in plain view. :sad2: More so with the Girls. Now I wish I would have taped it do go back and view it. Maybe I will check out the web-site and watch it again. :happytv:

I cant believe Drew is only 41, the way to acted and moved he looked more like he was 70. He just didnt look well at all to me.

Oswald and Danny are my favorites. They never seem to get too hyper or overreact. I love when Danny said he was a man in a former life! Too funny.

I also thought it was very rude and he was acting like a baby. Hello you were trying to win a game for money.

I think it was crazy that both of them (Drew & Kevin) didn't notice the Speed Limit sign change. :sad2:

It was only 40 on the dirt road. Once they were on the pavement, they could go 50. Kevin and Drew never saw the speed limit signs, and apparently never read the clue, either.

But didn't the BQ go around the check point/entrance gate where the guy TOLD the other teams about this speedlimit?? I don't know, it seemed like the editors were making such a big deal about this speed limit change and the fact that the BQ didn't stop to be told this that I was expecting some kind of penalty :confused3

iwas glad to see the whining drew go home...he was so negative...and i thought it was really low class to not even stay on the mat when they were eliminated...however...he really did not look good....i even thought for a while he may have cancer!!! :confused3

I totally agree....I don't think he looked good at all. I told my DH a couple of times that I thought he was sick. It will be interesting to find out for sure.
As annoying as he was the short time he was on the race......I sure hope he is ok!!!

Cool! Now there are atleast 3 of us on the Dis with sons named Declan.

They were second in line and another of the worker came to their vehicle. When he was through, they went around the car in front of them, stll getting directions.

So, when Amber gave the answer to cha-cha, who else thought "Oooh, Rob is going to kill her?":lmao:

Actually, I thought this was brilliant strategy. Danny & Oswald have shown that they can easily keep up with Rob & Amber and it looked like he was looking in the right places. So, for Amber to point out the answer to Oswald she creates good feeling that could work to her favour later. I frequently think that the alliances that form are poorly configured--I mean the Chos were so much stronger than Kentucky--but occasional moments of alliance between evenly matched teams seems wise.

I think it was stated on the clue as well. Besides if the terrain is rough it wouldn't be unheard of for the BQs to actually obey the limit without knowing it. Especially knowing that people are behind them and can't pass them.

I loved the "Greatest moments" blurb during the commercials. Romber being saved by a plane being called back to the gate. I guess as long as it benefits them it's OK and only wrong when it happens to another team that ends up beating them :rotfl2:

Go Rob and Amber! They really are a strong team. I think the fact that they remain calm is why they're always winning.

After seeing the previews for next week that something will happen that we won't believe, I'm really afraid that Rob and Amber might be eliminated. That is the only thing, as far as I'm concerned, that would be unbelievable.

I wasn't a big fan of Kentucky, but I would have liked to see the Barbies or Charla and Myrna go before them.

I really think the BQ's got off easy, they should have had to go back and get the clue and do the detour again! As far as Kentucky I knew they were not destined to go very far, the only reason they went as far as they did the first time is because of the alliances they had made. And I absolutely hate Charla and Mirna what a rude twosome! One is as bad as the other. So far we have not seen any non elimination rounds I wonder if that is a thing of the past?

I can't stand Charla and Myrna! I'm sorry Kentucky lost to them.

Charla and Myrna are awful. They are rude to all the other teams, then complain about everything the other teams do.

I'm rooting for Rob and Amber. I couldn't stand Rob in Survivor, but I've always like him on AR for some reason.

I don't like KY or C/M, but at least it's usually funny to watch C/M. I think they're awful people, but at least they bring something to the game. KY doesn't add anything, IMO.

Not really. That's happened before. If you think about it, they did everything they were supposed to do, just out of order. They didn't not complete a task or do one incorrectly.
