Something that's never happened to me before! Tweaking our plans for next week and I've actually been able to select a new time for popular restaurants even O'Hana! With the exception of the new rides in AK, I've even been able to tweak times for many fast passes! Is the week after July 4th the new slow season!? We haven't been in summer in years!

This happens as folks start to approach their Cancelation Window of being charged a No-Show fee at restaurants.

This happened to us as well during Easter week. I was super surprised but excited that we were finally able to reserve all the things we wanted.

People have this thing stuck in their heads that you can't plan last minute or change plans.

It's never been the case. Busy times. Slow times. You can change or plan last minute. We've never had a trip where we didn't wake up and change our park plans at least once per trip. Usually more

And we always make our ADR that morning. We make none further in advance than that and we never eat QS

We also had a great experience! On a whim, we decided on Monday to hit Disney this Saturday and Sunday. I was able to get FPs at great times for Splash, Space and BTMRR on Saturday and RnR, ST and ToT on Sunday. No 7DMT FPs, but with a little refreshing I even got a PPO BOG breakfast so we are planning to hit 7DMT that way. Yay for spontaneous Disney trips!!

I love that you said this.

When I say I could get FF next day (or whatever) its often with met with such surprise. Or the fact that I eat x restaurant or y time negates that such openings exist - regularly. So glad you shared this and hope your trip is lovely!
